  1. It’s not a lie. Again the consensus is if BY was 6’2 he would be the no question #1 pick. There’s a reason for that, he’s the best NFL ready QB in this class. That in no way says CJ is a raw prospect, Bryce is just viewed as the better all around QB as of right now if you aren’t concerned of his size.
  2. Literally no professional scout, gm, or organization has said he has a noodle arm. Why you making stuff up?
  3. Because Bryce is better at everything except being taller.
  4. I agree with Lamar, but Mahomes? BY can do anything with his legs Mahomes can. Neither are a running QB, both can extend plays and scramble when needed
  5. Baltimore ran 97% from shotgun this year. Chiefs were something like 75%. I’m confident BY could figure out how to take a snap under center for 5-25% of the time.
  6. I think he's the second best CB in this class. Absolute freak ability ball skills
  7. I’d be shocked if he’s the pick but also ecstatic because that means the coaching staff believes he can be the best QB of the class and so far I 100% trust this coaching staff.
  8. If he’s there at 39 I gotta go Flowers but would be very happy with Washington or edge there
  9. Why are you gonna buy a Texans jersey?
  10. It’s weird that everyone is acting like just because we have the #1 pick we are some god awful team. We were #9 with Matt fuggin Rhule and Wilks. I feel like Reich could’ve had this team in the 14-16 range with last years squad.
  11. It’s insane anyone poo’d your post for just pointing this out
  12. cause pro days aren't real and game tape matters more. Young is the best natural pure QB in this class. The way he throws and QBs the field when under pressure and everything is moving fast is unreal. There's a reason everyone says if he was 6'2 220 there would be no doubt who the #1 pick is.
  13. Steve just had that dawg in him lol. hard to compare though, receivers usually getting hit by CBs and get to see it more and run into them as much as getting run into. QBs usually get hit by 250+ pound men going full speed while standing still.
  14. for 2) that cannot be understated. I've heard soooo many times that you can't judge an Alabama QB fairly because he's surrounded by better talent than anyone else (which was true for Tua and Mac) but is definitely false this year. Ironically Stroud holds that this year but for some reason this board doesn't seem to apply that to him. I'm happy with either one and trust this staff but there's just something about Young that feels like he has that Burrow/Brady "it".
  15. Care to clarify? I haven't watched it all due to work but been glancing over and everything looked great. Super precise, deep ball is what you want, intermediate throws very crisp
  16. Idk that's a tough one. Brady was around soooo long we forget how completely different the offensive game was in the early 2000's compared to what Mahomes has played in
  17. Oh wow the bot slips up on possessives. Interesting
  18. Hey fellow State season ticket holder, good to see another on here. anyway, I’d say comparing The Golden Calf of Bristol to Young is a very unfair comparison. Young is 100x the passer and overall QB than The Golden Calf of Bristol was coming out. Tebows issues were very very different
  19. God I can’t wait for this guy to be our franchise QB for the next 10 years
  20. On the flip side the out of pocket numbers are not good for Stroud (comparatively) which would be easy for an NFL defense to exploit if something he cannot figure out at the next level
