ignore that guy, he just beats the same nonsensical point over and over then will pretend he never said it and start calling you names for some reason lol
-
Wow I forgot about LaFell... he was an okay #2 for a little bit. Gotta be hard playing under 89 lol
-
I don't think its fair to compare any rookie ever to Peyton, Drew, Mahomes or any of the all timers ever... that being said, there are very very many good to great QBs that had awful rookie seasons, good 2nd years, and broke out year 3.
-
Wanted to keep the company similar. Game is just so different since Cam came in the league. I may add Goff, Purdy, Dak, Darnold, Geno, Kyler and Teddy... will toss Cam in for fun.

probably brian johnson

I was screaming my head off at the TV when this happened. I'd ship Miles for a 7th at this point, he does more harm than good. Just terrible
-
how and what could this possibly even mean? I refuse to believe Frank can just forget a player exists

I'm just posting this for comparison and for discussion, nothing else: Bryce: 63.9%, 750 Yards, 5 TD, 4 INT CJ: 60.2%, 1219, 7/0 AR: 59.5%, 577, 3/1 Kenny: 69%, 771, 2/7 T Law: 58.2%, 873, 5/7 Zach: 56.8% , 925, 4/8 Fields: 50.2%, 448, 1/2 Mac: 71%, 1012, 4/4 Herbert: 69.2%, 1195, 9/3 Tua: 60.2%, 593, 6/0 Joe: 66%, 1121, 6/2

yeah i did the math before posting that, if he gets to 2:1 that shows me he's learning QUICK after throwing 1 per game so far. 21 and 11 would be pretty good imo
-
OL absolutely looked better. I think Corbett coming back changes a lot for us. Can truly play the best of the 3 scrub guards and only have 1 extrmemely weak spot on the line.
-
If he gets to 3500 yards with 2:1 TD ratio it’s a good year with this injury riddled roster. That would have me excited for next year
-
I disagree but fair enough. I think your first year in the NFL you’re looking for progress week over week. Now year 2, I agree. I wanna see average to above average everywhere with a breakout year 3.
-
Yeah definitely a factor. Every other QB has drops too so prob fine to not take into account but I would like to see Bryce completion at 10+ game over game. I def don’t think it was 44% first few weeks. If he’s getting better every week that’s good enough for me. Nobody is expecting him to be a pro bowler year 1.
-
Isn’t the league average like 53%? 44% for a rookie doesn’t seem that horrible
-
Everyone healthy since TC? 2-3
-
Injuries have killed this team. Unfortunately for a rookie QB the 2 best things you can have is a strong OL (3 starters currently out, 2 for the year) and a strong D to keep you in games (what... 4 starters out now?). The next best thing to have is a good HC and well... you know all about that already. The only thing we can really do is let Bryce figure out what he likes/doesn't like and get ready for next year and get healthy.

Reich has to give up play calling, he can’t do clock management
-
Mingo has looked decent today. Don’t recall even hearing TMJ name called
-
That’s fine. It’s not Madden, sometimes you have to slowly grow and get better. Have your own view on it, no worries
-
Cope with what? You’re on the wrong board just letting you know you must have accidentally logged in here instead of the Texans forum
-
They got HC right for sure. Jealous
-
Wrong board

I honestly don’t hate what I’ve seen today on O. We’re still shooting ourselves in the foot with play calling. Bryce mad some very questionable decisions and also some very nice plays. Defense is bad, we’ve given them a free 21 points, and we need Corbett back. Baby steps, learn what works and doesn’t. Throws your picks this year and get better
-
Don’t think so, and he shouldn’t.
