Is Smitty usually way off on WR draft picks? I just vaguely remember he really liked Mingo

He was a very high level talent guy that was known needed some time to adapt to the NFL. Also I think in our scheme the MLB calls the defense and has the headset. It definitely is not an easy position for a rookie

I think it’s still Wallace. He was not supposed to be ready last year but injuries made him play a ton. He has a nose for the ball and think will be okay this year

I think Vrabel is a home run and has them playoff contenders by year 2. Cowboys are doing a 1 year hold. Maybe Deion said he needs one more year in college so he doesn’t get in same year his sons get drafted. Ben Johnson I have no idea, Caleb is going to be really good but can you get over the dysfunction of being the Bears? Is Johnson a guy who can build a culture? He learned from the best so maybe. no clue on JAX, going to say it doesn’t work because they’re still JAX. Same for Jets. wtf is NOLA doing

No we have enough invested in the OL and need to pay Icky. Cade has played well enough where it’s worth a little less play to have a rookie contract and not someone who is 31. Spend all our money on defense

Bryce is literally becoming the pre draft #1 overall hype guy before our eyes. It's amazing to watch.

Of course not, but it is a major piece. Especially with how Bryce was slinging it towards the end. We would still have all of FA (we can make a TON of cap space this year) and a loaded 2-7 round picks.

I do think 8 should be off the table, but on the flip side I can see the appeal of KNOWING you have WR1 locked up for the foreseeable future and being able to use the remaining draft fully on defense. With Burden or TMac you just don’t know for sure

I really think a second this year (Rams) and next years third could do it IF Rodgers comes back. If Rodgers leaves I think they make him untouchable. just remember it’s the jets anything is possible

Improvement in Bryce = winning you aren’t losing many games when your QB goes for 5 TDs, even with our defense.

This is why the tanking discussion is so fuggin dumb. Other NFL players aren’t message board losers like we are they want to see winning. They could care less if we pick 6 or 8. Going out with a huge splash this season is massive for us going into the offseason
