  1. Ben Johnson was my favorite ever since Rhule got fired but damn I'm coming around to Slowik. I'd be thrilled with either. Slowik working directly under Shanahan for 5+ years is some really awesome experience.
  2. Wow. Wonder how D. Brown feels about that statement after he balled out and gave it his all every Sunday
  3. I think the OL is actually kinda close with the right scheme. Kick Icky to LG, Bozeman, Corbett/Brady, Moton. Go get Tyron Smith in FA to anchor LT for a couple years while we draft and develop. also one of Mike Evans or Michael Pittman
  4. I’d sign him for 22M. He has no interest in that so I’d tag and trade for a first in a heartbeat but more realistically a late second from a contender is what we get
  5. I mean yeah, you'll most likely never hit on all of them at the same time in the same sense it's really hard to miss on all of them at the same time, which we somehow did this year. I just don't see how anyone could possibly take a step back and look at this offensive season and decide you can make a determination on a rookie QB. A lot (most) on here disagree and that's fine. I'm just answering OP's original question with my perspective.
  6. I mean there is stuff like the Chark fumble today and TMJ not able to do the bare minimum so yes there is a certain amount of accountability needed, but overall and more impactful I think was the overall scheme and offensive gameplans this year. Like I said in my original post, I don't think you can make a determination on any offensive player this season.
  7. 100%. We should have a completely new scheme, coach, and GM (hopefully offensive roster too) week 1. We’ll know 6-8 games in if he’s the guy.
  8. I guess I watched a different season. I saw a few seriously nice downfield throws just in the GB game. I know we’ve moved on to that game being a fluke but the throws were made on that day.
  9. Yeah here. I just don’t think you can make a determination on any offensive player this season. I haven’t looked at final stats but think he ended up with more TD than INT and around 3000 yards in an absolutely terrible scheme, with a subpar OL and skill group, 2 HCs/horrible GM/worst owner in the league. It’s easy to put all the blame on the QB (which the huddle really likes to do) but I don’t think Bryce ever had a chance this year. He was setup for failure this year. Regardless he gets all of next year so we will see how he looks with a full NFL offseason and new coaching staff.
  10. So we have lost a TD to Chark and a TD to TMJ. Never let Fitt make another WR decision in his career
  11. This team is cursed. Its gods will to not let us score
  12. Man Chubba has come on big as a runner this year but his pass blocking… woof
  13. Man offensively we’ve just given up. I know it’s the last game but jfc call the full playbook at least
  14. Unreal how worthless Burns is against the run. It’s kind of crazy to watch
  15. God Jaycee is so good. Could literally be #1 CB in the NFL if can find a way to stay healthy
  16. Tepp steps back and hires President to run the team, Fitt fired, Ben Johnson or Harbaugh coach, reports coming out about how insane Bryce’s progress on off season footwork has been, Ickey moved to LG/BC LT, best guard at 33, AJ brown forces his way out of Philly and we pay him a poo ton to come here. that being said I’m sure I’ll watch every game next year regardless just like I did this year
  17. It actually affects him. 300k is absolutely nothing to him. Missing multiple games is embarrassing and something he wants to do but can’t.
  18. Would be a miracle. Gotta pray he sees enough in himself to step down and hire a president
  19. Unreal. NFL is protecting him. They know any financial penalty is a joke. Nothing but physical bans to games should be accepted
