  1. Wow I can’t believe he didn’t have any trade value. I really thought we could get a 7th
  2. Better than what we have. Think he’s a plug and play at LG. At worst he’s solid depth. Great pickup
  3. Man, how does he NOT end up in Washington? I can’t really see any other scenario right now. I’d actually like to see him play with Ron again and a stellar D
  4. If the Temple connection doesn’t come into play then Grier really should get it. Either guy is going to lose us games if Sam goes down so I say roll with the higher ceiling which is Grier. Now I’d be fine if we somehow get a cheap veteran and then cut both PJ and Will. I’d prefer to only keep 2 on roster
  5. Only one I’ve been tracking has been Shi and I haven’t seen anything new come out since Rhule said yesterday “not too long, hopefully” when asked how long he’ll miss. Hopefully that’s a good sign? I’ve heard 4-8 weeks
  6. I disagree. I think Luke is his own incredible piece but he also elevates everyone else on the D. Burns and Luke are already pro bowl level, and I think chinn is there this year too
  7. Luke makes this defense top 3 in the league. All pros at each level if you count Chinn at S, plus a stud CB1. MVP Cam was great but still like 60% completion rate. I’d take the 2 studs OTs and Darnold
  8. Sam and our 2023 2nd. Maybe a first as long as it’s heavy HEAVY conditional
  9. Curious what the rating would be with the 1 INT he should’ve had. Either way a solid first outing. Should only get better with CMC and hopefully the rookies playing on the OL
  10. He really did not look calm or comfortable at the beginning. Let’s hope it was first game jitters and we see the 2nd quarter version moving forward. Also dear god, start Brady. He looked better than anyone not named Moton
  11. I do think the playbook seriously opens up with CMC in there + regular season. Coaches aren’t dumb, they know the OL is weak and will scheme for it
  12. Dudes a stud. I can’t believe we got him where we did
  13. 100% agree. I thought he looked really good moving in the pocket sans 2 plays I saw. Took what the D gave him, and hit on the intermediate throws when they counted, minus the one behind Robby. If the OL can gel (or we get Brady and Brown in there and they’re the answer) Sam can do some damage here.
  14. Agree. It’s a huge issue if we can’t keep him clean, but I did not expect to see 2 scores and no turnovers in his half of playing time. And yes 1 probably should’ve been picked but this is better than I expected
  15. Taking a step back and not breaking down each throw 1 by 1, Sam has looked good. Not great, but good. Yes it’s second string, but for his first real game action with us I’m pleasantly surprised. If we can keep him clean (and huge if) he’s going to get better as we go on. 8.5 yards per attempt with no turnovers… I’ll take it all day.
  16. I agree I like bitching too, I do it a ton. I just don't think it's reasonable to think DJ is going anywhere. I don't see anything at all that we've done (including this) that would even remotely suggest that.
  17. I don't understand how anyone cannot see this is clearly the plan and sets up amazingly for us if TJ pans out. How can people be upset with this? The whole point of us rebuilding and starting from scratch with our cap is to make moves like this. Unbelievable.
  18. Wow this is an amazing deal for both sides. I didn't think we'd get him to agree to anything less than 3, but this is perfect for us. Sets us up nicely to use that extra cap to extend Burns and DJ and when this contract is up we can lock up TJ if he is who we think he'll be. Excellent deal, great job Fitt
  19. Fair enough, I thought he was pretty serviceable for his rookie year
  20. How? He played all 16 games his rookie year then had to miss last year with a torn bicep.
  21. Man we’re fugged at LT aren’t we? At this point I see no reason not to roll with Moton/Brady
