All-22 Review of the first team offense vs. Houston
jb2288 replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s refreshing to get an analytical and level headed view in here. Thanks so much for putting in all the effort your content rocks. The first play breakdown is so helpful after hearing people say Bryce panicked or had AT wide open or someone even said he never even saw the flag. Justin Herbert probably makes that throw, Bryce doesn’t. That’s a fair criticism -

Okay wtf is this play call Dave https://x.com/baldynfl/status/1956848004532773289?s=46&t=ID24LbHaAiOwVOmMGHXcTA edit: just remembered Brad is calling plays. Wish Canales wouldn’t experiment right now

Bryce’s biggest issue imo is it takes him way too long to relax. I’m not talking drives, I’m talking games. After his rookie season almost can’t blame him, then the benching seemed to help. I didn’t want the game yesterday but people said he was looking skittish and lost (I know take with a grain of salt) but wouldn’t be surprised if he balls out this entire week again then struggles game 1. He has to find a way to wash away everything about his rookie season and first half of last year and trust himself and coaches. It’s Y3 I think we get a much faster start this year if the OL and WR live up to their potential.

Preseason Panthers v Texans official game day thread
jb2288 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just got back from golfing and see Bryce was 0/2 and from reading the thread sounds like 2 drops by JT and TMac. But we’re talking about drafting Arch next season? What is happening -
Albert Breer - SI Camp Notes (Short Video w/my own notes)
jb2288 replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree with this. Does everyone remember last year when someone would have a massive pass play against us 3-4 times each game? we had multiple busted coverages every Sunday. I’d rather have Scott get beat than have free runners with nobody around them. That being said, hopefully eventually it’s a more talented guy back there who also knows all the calls -
I have +9000 on DK but honestly the one I like it first TD score of the season for +5500
-
lol

If he can put it all together we’re so dangerous on offense this year. Seeing him high point balls and go get them with his hands makes me so excited
-
HANDS. I hope XL comes out with a vengeance after last week.
-
Thank you. Knew I was missing something
-
I’m confused on the Wharton comment. Is he saying he isn’t one of our best 53 players? If so, that sucks with how much we paid him to come here
-
I mean Rhule got 2.5 seasons and I think we all agreed he needed to go. Reich was not an NFL coach anymore and we absolutely made the right decision moving off of him. I don’t think Tepper wants to move off another HC. I don’t follow soccer
-
Tepper cares about Bryce and offense. If we win 3 games but score 27 PPG, Canales is safe.
-
Of course, but he is a good fit for a few (49ers for example) and injuries happen. I don’t think we’re getting a 2nd for him or anything but I could see us trading him for a 6th round and cap relief then rolling with TMac, Coker, Horn, XL, Moore, maybe Renfrow
-
I knew not to punch a helmet by 8th grade football practice
-
I think AT gets traded at the deadline and Moore comes up from the practice squad (if we can stash him) and that’s our final WR room
-
Unless they’re 20 years old, agreed
-
Evero?!?! Should he be on the Hot Seat
jb2288 replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think we either fire him mid season and promote Todd to DC or he does a good job relevant to what we have and we all see last year was due to having no talent on the roster. -
I think he’s listed as the starter because of vet presence but let’s be honest he’s not good. I imagine even if he’s the starter the young guys will get a ton of PT

Not trying to be funny, but do you know what the C in YAC stands for? -

Honestly I think it's a by product of our best player and seasons being with Cam. Cam was a physical specimen and a great QB who could flick the ball 65 yards and I will forever miss him. It's probably fair to think a lot of fans who weren't around in the early 2000s (or just forgot) feel that is the only way to win, but that just isn't factual. In fact, if you look at the records it's quite rare. -
having your QB, LT, and Edge as top 3 is massive for any team. those are cornerstone pieces you need to win in the playoffs. Yes it's preseason and I'm not taking too much out of it, but it's been a long offseason

Here is LITERALLY a non Panther fan who spends his entire life covering professional sports calling it electric https://x.com/schultz_report/status/1953963581760057498?s=61
