Xavier Legette has checked out. I see no fight in this manman
jb2288 replied to Gipetto's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is probably a bias. The really good HOF types have their kids hyped up and it’s hard to live up to HOF dads. The non HOF players kids aren’t hyped up as much because nobody knows who their dads are, therefore much easier to be better. See Jaycee as a great example. edit: misread your post, yeah I agree with what you said and think that’s accurate -

That’s not really true tho. Look at the playoff teams this year. All of them but the Chiefs and the Bills who use a TE as their 1 have a legit WR defined 1/2. -

You are probably correct, but it comes with the territory of being an NFL player paid millions of dollars. He could have done himself a lot of favors by taking a bit more mature approach in the offseason. I still hope he ends up being a good player -

I think you nailed it. This guy never thought he’d be an NFL player until his senior year. Now he’s a multi millionaire who cares more about commercials and Tik toks than football. Just doesn’t have priorities straight -
Schefter: Tet McMillan did not practice today (calf)
jb2288 replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh 100%. I get it I’d do the same if I was him but as a fan would prefer Dan cared more about what’s best for the team vs keeping some vets wife happy -
My favorite are the posters who have never brought anything to the board besides the same talking point for 3 seasons, saying Ice’s posts aren’t quality. Insane take lol

No idea I’m not a Vikings fan. Does anyone on here honestly think he wouldn’t have at least 12-15 catches for us through 3 games? -
Great write up as always. Thanks for bringing quality content to this board

I think everyone from last week plays Sunday and honestly we are better without this current version of XL -

But the huddle will tell you we fleeced them for a convoluted pick swap lmao. Trash decision -

This place has very unrealistic expectations for a WR 5 -
Is Mike Jack already the 2nd best trade in Panthers history?
jb2288 replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jared Allen really the only other one I can think of. On one side he only played 1 season and wasn’t that massive a difference maker on the other it was a really damn good season. -
panthers offense 30 of 32 in yards per play
jb2288 replied to fanpanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
It is not. We are sloppy and don’t execute well. Our supposed strength of the run game isn’t there. Our #1 pick QB isn’t playing up to it currently. Our #2 receiver got phantom injury benches because he sucks so bad. However there is some potential there and I’m open to letting things gel and seeing where we go this year. -

You. You said that. You literally make something up in another thread, then quote your made up post as fact from others. Objectively, it’s hilarious. -
If George is saying it, you know it’s bad haha

We won, but Bryce and Canalas still blow
jb2288 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
That probably is a part of it but I really think the QB rule changes and move away from violence and physicality for ball carriers was the biggest change the NFL had ever gone through and impacted the game immensely. Even more so than the Mel Blount. I was watching the 2008 AFC championship game the other day and it’s a completely different sport. -

jb2288 replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s not the teams, it’s the league. Since 2018 GMs have spent considerable time and resources building personnel for nickel and dime packages. It caught up in 2024 and offenses are adapting back ahead of it. Look no further than the SB champions last year. -
Let him get it out. He’ll tantrum out, go quiet for a bit, then come up with the new insult for the next week.
-
And here comes Frank right on cue. Is “cult” your new buzzword this week? If you take time to read the post you’ll see the discussion was over 15 yard and plus passes. But I know you prefer to paint your own picture then cry about people moving the goalposts when called out on your slop.

don't bring actual analysis to this thread, we prefer to complain about not throwing it 11 times into double coverage downfield

Dude what. I posted literally factual stats for 2025. -

Stroud literally has worse 2025 stats in TD, QBR, yards, and W/L record in 2025 with a better roster. How is that not realistic? That's a fact. -

You’re right about that, I legit don’t know why I come here lol. But alas here I am every weekend -

I know you're a huge TMac fan (I am too but not as much as you) but this isn't how coaches think. You play to win the game with the best chance possible. Tmac got targeted plenty btw and had a few drops by his own standards.
