Neal. Cross the safest by far

Draft charts go out the window when it comes to a QB

It’s a crapshoot. Exact same things were said about Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, etc

Orlovsky: Pickett doesn’t have anything that isn’t coachable
jb2288 replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ha no idea I’m too young, BUT lets say he didn’t… he was drafted accordingly. A 6th round JAG career practice squad dude may be active to backup a few games, is all anyone expected. -
I don’t believe that for a sec, I think he’s saving face. There’s a reason Brady retired. I think this was in the works to get him back

Not really unless he just means physical traits. I don’t think it’s possible to teach the dog and clutch that Brady has. You either have that or you don’t. -
Lamar won an MVP 2 years ago. Hasn’t really been even remotely dominant since then. Disagree on Dak and Herbert. Kyler has thrown for 4000 yards the past 2 seasons while also doing what he does with his legs. I do think Herbert will be better however, he’s just younger. Dak is just what he is at this point
-
Fair enough. I have Kyler above Jackson, Herbert, and Prescott
-
alright, i gotta ask. Who are the 10 you put in front of him? I got to 7 before Kyler
-
90s Brett could but he was a freak
-
Did you just start watching him yesterday at his pro day? That’s literally been the comment every single analyst has on Willis. Doesn’t throw with anticipation and will need to tighten up accuracy for the NFL ball placement needed.

Mahomes was 2017. And I think we will know the answer to that question April 28
-
Would have to give up the #1 pick. I wouldn’t
-
Wow. That’s a loaded Miami team if Tua figures it out
-
This team is overall way better than 2011. While you can’t win a SB without a great qb, you can definitely win 8-9 games
-
I agree and hope our staff agrees. Can trade back and get Matt around 20

Post Mortem on the Watson Trade (from Albert Breer)
jb2288 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I just spent 10 min reading all this, and all I can say is I think we dodged a bullet. That’s coming from someone who was all in on Watson trade this time last week- 47 replies

Matty Water to the Colts for a 3rd rounder.

Wow this is great. Increases the value of our pick. Either we want QB and take the first one (unless Det does something weird), or our pick just got way more valuable and we trade down. ATL will be garbage this year I’d swap picks with them for a high second this and next year. -
While they aren't huge on their own, it's just an overall testament to athletics. If someone has consistently better scores across all drills, it makes it a pretty easy conclusion they are a better overall athlete
