  1. Brady is going to be a hot coaching name next off season. I think he will do really well too, Rhule screwed him here
  2. Idk seems pretty obvious we are not targeting a long tenured retread. Not saying it’s the right move but seems we have a plan and the advisory board is driving that and not wavering from it.
  3. The bar is so low after Frank that I’m sold
  4. I can’t watch the videos for some reason, but my question is. How does his philosophy rank against Franks? It seems very different just hearing about motion, iso, getting your guys in space vs just sitting in shotgun and being stationary pre snap
  5. he wont. Tepper goes extremes. College coach who never has sniffed the NFL to retread NFL coach who has been around for 30 years. I'm fully expecting a WNBA assistant coach to get the job
  6. Could be a blessing in disguise. Whoever Tepper wants to hire #1 is going to be the wrong guy based on track record. Pushing down to his 3rd or 4th option could be good
  7. Interesting no Slowik on this list. Would prefer him over Frank Smith
  8. Man.... When 4 of your 5 worst players started at G and the 5th was one of your supposed big offseason playmaking signings.... Plus one of the OL in the top 5 is a bit questionable.... Just no chance for anyone to succeed on offense this year. Defense is super encouraging. If Jaycee somehow gets the injury bug out of his system, we have a very solid core of young guys to build around. Think Xavier is the oldest on that list and he's only like 28
  9. Probably lol not sure if that is indefinite or runs out after 10 years or something. CFB is so different than 2009 anyway I’m sure Alabama could figure it out
  10. Saban done… I don’t personally see it but the conspiracy theorist in me wants to say Carrol takes that job
  11. hahahahaha and I cannot emphasize this enough... hahahaha
  12. kind of wild if you think about it how unlikely 2 things had to happen for the Bucs to make the playoffs 1) Panthers kicker gets injured and we don't have anyone worth a poo 2) WR has a clear TD that scores 99.9999% of the time and fumbles on the half inch line. this season sucked but we had to have gotten some of the bad luck out for the foreseeable future
  13. Damn Pete Carrol out. That one could potentially hurt, that is a good job.
  14. Yep 100% agree. I like Evero a lot (and hope he is our DC next year) but I am glad we're not giving up a potential third round pick just because we want to make everyone happy. Fug that, you're under contract, we want you back, and we get a potential 3rd in a year. Why in the world would we just let him walk to JAX?
  15. Fair enough, had no idea what his contract looked like when I wrote that. I’m all for keeping him
  16. If you can get good value for Moton I agree trade him, if not I'd like to see Icky slide in to LG freeing up BC to play LT. Roll with Boze and Corbett another year, draft and develop a future RT. BC coming back opens up a lot of options, I'd like to see us aggressively pull another very strong guard in FA however
  17. Would be common sense that we do this... so i gotta imagine we aren't.
  18. Agreed. Winning cures everything. Make the right GM HC combo and take a step back and let them do their thing
  19. Ben Johnson was my favorite ever since Rhule got fired but damn I'm coming around to Slowik. I'd be thrilled with either. Slowik working directly under Shanahan for 5+ years is some really awesome experience.
  20. Wow. Wonder how D. Brown feels about that statement after he balled out and gave it his all every Sunday
  21. I think the OL is actually kinda close with the right scheme. Kick Icky to LG, Bozeman, Corbett/Brady, Moton. Go get Tyron Smith in FA to anchor LT for a couple years while we draft and develop. also one of Mike Evans or Michael Pittman
  22. I’d sign him for 22M. He has no interest in that so I’d tag and trade for a first in a heartbeat but more realistically a late second from a contender is what we get
  23. I mean yeah, you'll most likely never hit on all of them at the same time in the same sense it's really hard to miss on all of them at the same time, which we somehow did this year. I just don't see how anyone could possibly take a step back and look at this offensive season and decide you can make a determination on a rookie QB. A lot (most) on here disagree and that's fine. I'm just answering OP's original question with my perspective.
