Yes I was at that game. But that’s kind of my point. Tua has had tons of concussion issues and even had one coming into the NFL. Could be wrong, but I don’t think Bryce has had any head issues
-
This is a really bad take. Watch the TN game if you need more film of him making great decisions and throws under duress
-
Tua’s injury history is concussion based. You can’t assume BY would have the same issues because they’re a similar size.

MMQB: Breer on Wilks/potential OC candidate

I meant more so specifically with us that first year. We had the personnel to do what Brady wanted with two gloves at QB. OL was the glaring offensive weakness that year -

We obviously aren’t in a position to ever know now, but man Id kill to know what Brady could have been without Rhule. I honestly think he would have been a good to great OC without Rhules garbage -
I think we can reasonably say McAdoo > Rhule w/ McAdoo > Gase and that Sam has been better with the better coaching staffs. I would love to keep him here at least one year with Johnson or Steichen
-
I was just quoting the OP I didn’t go look up their schedule but I am like 99.999% sure the colts did not play in the AFC championship game in the year you referenced?
-
I'm not following the logic here then. If the Colts = Panthers and have been dumpster fires since we lost our respective pro bowl QBs, why would Reich do better here than with the Colts? It's actually almost scary how similar... above avg defense, all star RBs, revolving door at QB, losing seasons.
-
Mine is Ben Johnson, what he's done with Goff is insane. Give him our OL and Corral or 1st round QB I think he could make it work. That being said would love Steichen as well.
-
Yeah I think so cause you'd have others bad teams with high picks fighting to get Young/Stroud (whoever drops to 2). Charts go out the table in that specific situation imo. Now if we get to 4 or something might ease that a bit.
-
I think each side has remained the same since the beginning, you just hear more from one side or the other depending on if Wilks coached a good or bad game that week
-
our 1st, both our 2nds, next years 1st, and a 4th (or 3rd next year) is my guess
-
Hopefully. He has done a great job but he does not need to get the job. It isn't even about deserving it, he's probably done enough to "deserve" it but we need better.

Saying the bowl isn’t for the kids is a wild statement coming from some middle aged dude behind a keyboard. I wasn’t good enough to last more than a year as a walk on in college, but was close to the players and know playing in the bowl game was a big deal to many of them. We missed one year at 5-7 and players were devastated the season ended there without post season play. I see what you’re saying, but I think you’re way too confident and wrong in a few key areas. besides I like having football on every day leading up to Christmas. If you don’t just don’t watch, those meaningful games are still there for you after new years.
-
Uh welll you didn’t. Because your argument still makes no sense. You want to go back to quality bowl games that are top 10 matchups? Okay no problem. Wait until Jan 1 and watch those. It doesn’t affect you one bit to not watch before then. Your “solution” only takes away the opportunity for people who want to watch and kids who want to play in those games.
-
What does it matter? If those bowl games didn't exist they wouldn't be playing either so it's the same thing. Let the kids who want to play, play. If you don't want to watch, don't watch.

this is one of the most unhinged things ive ever read on this board. i dont even know where to start
-
new HC. We all know what Wilks is and that's a massive upgrade of Rhule but still an average coach. Rhule just set the bar so damn low. If we keep Wilks we'll all be mad when we go 9-8 or 10-7 for the third year in a row with one wild card in the span
-
They seem to have some sort of value to you.

Why is @4Cornerspoo’ing a post about a man taken too soon and his positive impact on his players?
-
man this team is an avg to above avg qb away from a playoff team. Wonder if Darnold can become that guy
-
We aren't losing the 4th, it's a 5th.
