  1. Hell of an average lol. In all seriousness, Brown I think could be a great fit here but it’s all about cost. If Fitt truly has any magic and gets him here while costing us very little besides his salary that’s a win. If he’s dealing anything more than a 4th heads should roll
  2. Agree with you but Mingo was out with a concussion, not like he was a healthy scratch.
  3. You are asking me if I think a 25 year old former 2nd round pick who has extreme flexibility to play all over the defense, no major injuries, natural position does not break the bank on a second contract, and had performed above average each year he’s been here with zero off field issues…. Is worth more than a 6th round pick? And think you’re about to make a good point here? Think very carefully before you reply.
  4. Chinn for a 6th in the dumbest thing I’ve read on here in weeks
  5. Go bigger, see what they would do for Chase. Burns for Chase straight up is my dream but I have no idea how the value works out on that. I imagine we'd need to send a pick back, which I honestly wouldn't be THAT upset about with how bad Fitt has been drafting outside the first. If the Bengals think Burrows hammy is long term and need to shut him down, they'd be in position for Marvin Harrison Jr. anyway
  6. @TheCasillas in your opinion, what are the main needs we should be targeting at the trade deadline and further looking in the draft and free agency? Feels like G, WR, and LB are the big 3 to me. DB I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Troy Hill stepping up but we are 1 more injury away from having a CFL lineup back there.
  7. Thank you for doing this write up. Truly great posting. It feels like as bad as things look, we do have a few pros. CJ looks to be worth a third, DJ look to be worth a third, and YGM a second. This is all 1 game but if we get DJ and YGM both growing into this scheme as young players it would be huge. CJ is so hot and cold but I will give him benefit of doubt being only 4 games into a new scheme. If Jaycee is ever healthy again and CJ plays into what we saw this weekend consistently, that’s a great 1/2 and corner. I don’t know what to make of Ickey, just extremely disappointing slump. I am holding out the slightest hope that when Corbett comes back the line tightens up.
  8. It’s incredible for a football forum how majority of vocal posters here have their knowledge end at “bust cause not throwing bombs”
  9. This makes sense on why we haven’t paid Burns out yet. We can 100% get a stud #1 here if we overpay, which I think is the right move if we are all in on Bryce.
  10. do you hear yourself? You guys are slobbing on Stroud for throwing a TD with 25 air yards and nobody within 8 yard of his receiver, but you're telling me you wouldn't freak out if he makes a huge anticipation throw down field on a rope for a TD? ok.... "it wasn't a nasty throw, it was a throw a number 1 pick should make with little difficulty" my man, you just wrote the same thing twice and then said they aren't the same. A throw a number 1 pick should make with little difficulty absolutely can be a nasty throw (which it was)
  11. You can’t be serious. You’re talking about the play where he threw a bullet before Adam came out of his break and hit him in the facemask on the 1? That was a nasty throw. Yeah it was preseason but the Bryce hate here is getting unreal.
  12. Was probably fair advice 20 years ago but think that had passed. An average coach yes, after 3 years they can become the guy but if you have an awful coach and you know after 1 season, you have to pull the trigger. I’m not saying Frank is that yet
  13. Worst part is we might have one on staff that literally holds that title… and we aren’t getting to see what he can do. slight side note I’d love to see what Joe Brady would do with this team to scheme Bryce success if he had full control of the offense.
  14. -Anything over Bryce decision making to not go deep. Is it due to play calling, option isn’t there, pressured too quick, he is just not making the correct read, doesn’t trust his arm, etc… I have my conclusion after doing a rewatch but would love to get your take on it. -YGM and DJ
  15. If he’s as humble as I’ve heard it’s time to turn over play calling. It’s painfully clear he can’t handle both HC and play calling duties.
  16. Just because you say it doesn’t make it true lol if we want a legit #1 WR to come to this dump of a coaching staff we’re gonna have to consider ponying up $25M. Couple that with a Brown extension which I really hope we do, you wouldn’t suddenly be able to throw $30M at Burns. I’m not even saying he isn’t worth it in a vacuum, but when you add the context of having to build around your massive investment into QB it is a legit discussion. Plus it’s not only the cap savings, but the draft capital you’d get (which hopefully Fitt is gone for by then)
  17. We’re not in the position to pay a DE that money. As much as the FO won’t admit it, we are rebuilding. Start with your young QB we’ve invested so much into and overpay for another guard and WR to protect your investment. Build the D through draft and free agency
  18. Yes, I do see how that is a play calling issue. I’m glad you see that as well.
  19. I’ll have to find it but Reich is on record somewhere saying Dalton has more playbook to work with than Bryce as they ease him in. Can’t say that seems to be working, we need to let the kid go and start ripping it and see what we have
  20. This is unfortunately the correct answer. If we drafted CJ he’d be 0-4 here and Bryce would be tearing it up in Houston.
  21. You got timestamps on the quarters? I’m gonna rewatch tonight and wanna see what he missed on today
  22. I’m sure it does too, but unfortunately our all star coaching staff needs to call those plays
  23. 1/2. Can you not interpret a passing chart or something?
  24. 7/9 on 10+ yard passes and we wanna act like Bryce is the problem here
