Not really. Bryce’s contract is a tiny fraction of what Watson is getting. If we go QB in draft and happen to luck into the right guy, problem solved.

Depends how Dalton looks end of the year. If there’s 3 first round QBs just grab one doesn’t matter which it’s all luck anyway. If there’s no QBs with a first round grade and we decide to keep Dalton then trade back and rebuild the defense

As awful as we’ve been, we have a pretty close trajectory to what the 49ers did. Really bad ownership, bad coaches, bad players and QBs… hired the right young offensive coach, found the QB on the roster after trading the farm for a bust… we can be competitive in 2025 and a legit playoff team 2026 if Canales is the guy and DM continues to build the roster, he did a great job flipping the OL and WR in just one offseason.
