Sam Howell has big time mechanical red flags. He also was in an offense where he was asked to make two reads max. Mack Brown QBs tend to suck unless they’re a generational guy like Vince Young.

Some of the takes in here are hilarious. Tell me you don’t watch film without telling me you don’t watch film. Three minute highlights to horrible background music don’t count*.

goodness man. PJ Walker ran a 4.75 40 yard dash and never had more than 330 yards rushing. Willis is a bonafide athletic freak. Honestly don’t know how you can look at them and be like “yeap. same guy.”.

PJ Walker can’t hold a candle to neither Willis’ arm talent nor his athleticism.

No, don’t believe that. But he could be a piece to build around like Drew Brees, or hell even that guy Cam Newton and eventually get us there. Now before any of y’all come at me and be all like “can’t build without draft picks”. Yes. Yes you can. We drafted like poo with Marty Hurney for the most part but still were elevated by QB1.

The most acceptable trade scenario for me that makes sense for both sides is: Carolina gets: Deshaun Watson Houston gets: ’22, ‘23, ‘24 1st round picks ’23 3rd round pick Brian Burns Sam Darnold Terrace Marshall Jr. Not many have mentioned TMJ, but Texans have a young QB and surrounding him with another weapon always helps.

Tepper hired a private investigator to look into Deshaun Watson

John, what’s the likelihood we trade for Watson prior to the draft and your best guess for the compensation? Thanks man, love your content. -
I saw a stat yesterday where if the records were flipped by “team that scored first in games” we would be 12-5. First drives are scripted, and hell we look damn good in them. Just goes to show you we have the talent to be a good team, the lack of coaching adjustments throughout games to keep lifting that talent is obvious.

They’re not putting up near that many points on our defense at full strength

Person puts the nail in the Watson to Carolina coffin

Calculated positioning is what I see, as well. They’re trying to drive the price down by being “not interested”. I’m convinced that Rhule and Fitterer have no interest in drafting/developing a rookie QB. They want to fast-track this thing on offense to complement our defense. The evidence is there in the off-season, tried for Watson and then Stafford then settled on Darnold. Now, Watson’s back on the menu. -

The biggest thing that stands out to me out of Joe’s report is that we re-engaged after we said we were not going to pursue Watson. lol sure doesn’t seem like we are out. -
Sacks aren’t the problem because Sam does his best to get the ball out quick. Sometimes it works, other (really bad) times it doesn’t. You can’t look at sacks allowed to judge an OL. Sometimes the sack is due to the line, other times it’s due to the QB holding the ball for ages. Our line is one of the worst in pressures allowed and pass blocking metrics. I honestly haven’t see a line this terrible in quite a while. Cam Erving makes Matt Kalil look like Joe Thomas.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that this is a civil litigation, not a criminal one. There is a lower standard of proof required. We may not get any more than the “he said, she said” evidence presented. If that is the case, this may not go anywhere. Anyways, no need to get heated amongst each other. All love.
