It was a joke. I hope he stays healthy the rest of the season and his career, wtf dude.
-
He will get 35 touches this weekend if active. RB committee goes out the window.

Hey guys lets sign *insert random qb* since Darnold is hurt. It is already Wednesday we are not signing anyone else, we were not interested in these guys during the offseason and we are not interested in them now.

There was a play later in the game I think we were still down 9-10 before the FG put us up 12-10. The OL collapsed and Sam air mailed it out the back of the endzone. Ok all of that is fine, but that is a far cry from "we did not throw the ball into the endzone even one time" that is what I was on about.
-
Yes Sam has been slow to process. im not a Sam apologist. He has thrown some bad passes. The Giants game was a utter poo show, but it seemed like the benching lit a small fire under Sam. Do I want him to be the starter for the next 10 years? Hell no unless he improves by a lot. However, he is not the only problem on offense. When I list our offensive strengths I have not been listing QB. #1 WR. RT. maybe a TE in Tremble. The other guys are trash or rookies that need to develop. I was just wondering why you said we did not throw the ball into the endzone once? did you mean successfully?
-
Not even a Darnold fanboy whatever the hell that is, im just pointing out the obvious that we need multiple players on O. Sam played a decent game Sunday littered with drops, one that would have been a TD early in the game on a dime in the back of the endzone. Sam made a dumb move near the end of the game by not sliding and got popped. Currently on O we have a #1 WR who half-assed it on Sunday. A RT, and maybe a TE.
-
Now that I think about it we also tried to throw into the endzone later in the game as well but the OL collapsed before Sam had a chance to read anything and he threw it out the back of the endzone, anxiously awaiting your response, but I know you are going to disappear again.

So the drop by DJ was not a throw into the endzone? Did you watch the game? Dropping TD passes is not a sustainable way to win games, you are right. The weapons on this offense suck. It does not do us much good when the guys cant catch the ball, what else can we do? Replacing the QB is not going to fix the WRs hands problems, The entire offense needs to be rebuilt like we did the D.
-
I watched the entire game, did he make some incredible error that made his game on Sunday bad? There are players on offense much worse than Sam but it always comes back to him Guys not catching the ball: Sam's fault OL missing blocks : Sam's fault WRs not running the right routes or finishing their routes because they are not getting targeted? Sam's fault Wrs missing blocks? Sam's fault He does enough bad poo on his own to get dogged out when he actually plays a good game. The offense has tons of problems and its not just Sam. We have 3 guys in the top 20 in the league in drops, 2 of them in the top 5. Thats a sure fire way to kill drives and a offense and make your QB numbers look like poo.
-
He also had a TD dropped in the end zone and a few other drops, I remember them showing a graphic that we had 3 dropped passes before the half. Maybe if we spent a whole draft on offense we would have playmakers that could actually catch the ball. For gods sake we had a Minnesota castoff making plays in the game because our weapons are lacking so bad on offense. The offense is loaded though, we just need a franchise QB to take it over the top with a RT and a sometimes great #1 WR if he decides to play with a bunch of rookies and garbage.

Shaq has been more this year than he has ever been. He has been a JAG or an average player for the majority of his career, He might finally be turning into the LB we expected him to be when we drafted him in the first round 6 years ago. No one needs to apologize for anything when it comes to Shaq.
-
Is it Sam or the WRs they dont trust? Sam played a good game Sunday and was still let down by numerous drops. Even DJ is playing lazily now. Tremble had a couple of nice grabs, but the other guys are still dropping passes left and right.

This “analytics” conditioning is garbage
PootieNunu replied to The Question's topic in Carolina Panthers
Most of our major injuries this year came from non contact plays. The only thing prevented from making football "soft" as you say is concussions. So great comparison! -
Where Are We Really -- One Season and 7 Games Into It...
PootieNunu replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
There are 10 teams with a worse record than us. We are not even close to picking #1. -
There is a disconnect somewhere, it happened last year as well. I imagine the practice is like: Brady : "Come on guys I am giving you the plays we won with at LSU, these are money plays all you have to do is execute" Players: "Coach they know all of these plays we need to mix it up some" Brady: "Nah we won big with these at LSU guys you just need to execute them properly" Players " *sigs* *Rolls eyes* Ok coach.......

Rapaport: Panthers/ Tepper out of Watson deal
PootieNunu replied to FugginPoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Giving Robby that temple owl financial grant was the worst thing we could have done. He did not give a fug before he got paid now he cares even less. Samuel could have been kept if we were throwing money at a WR, Robby was already under contract. Then we would not have needed to draft a WR in the 2nd. -
Rapaport: Panthers/ Tepper out of Watson deal
PootieNunu replied to FugginPoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
That really bothers me with Brady because we spent a 3rd on him. Brown was a 6th who cares. We really need to change how we evaluate OL. Stop doing this cute 2nd round G/ 3rd round T bullshit. We could have taken a guy that can actually play OL instead of him if the best he can be is a backup. -

The G we got much later in the draft has not played a snap in the regular season. I dont know how we realistically take a LT with out 1st and rebuild the interior of our OL with the few late round picks we have remaining. Maybe Brady can move to LG Brown can play RG and we can find a C with one of our late round picks. Im just trying to envision how to build the OL with a 1st round LT. -

Another problem is we dont have a 2nd or 3rd round pick. This is my dilemma. We dont want to resign paradis, miller and daley are trash. Brady was decent last game at LT. -

So what do we do at C and G next season? Do you want these same bums in the middle? Smarts guys drop gifs. They dont express why drafting a LT is better.
