  1. It shouldn't have been too hard to get them to take pay cuts. I would have started the conversation like " I dont know what kind of drugs our old guys were on but you are making way too much money for your production level, Would you be interested in taking a pay cut to stay here or would you rather get cut next offseason and try your luck on the open market? "
  2. His liability against the run should already be a non factor if he wants Watt money. We shouldn't be paying a one trick pony like a complete DE, Watt is a beast against the pass and run. Burns is terribly overrated by this fanbase, he is basically aldon smith but he plays 3 downs like a complete player. I wish we could see how he does in a 3-4 before handing him 100m., right now he is not worth it imo.
  3. The same way he has his entire life, pure athletic abilities. No one cares you hate this board or you would be willing to spend a fortune for Lamar's dumb ass. If we want a running QB we have our own in Cam who is actually intelligent that wont cost multiples first round picks and a 9 figure contract.
  4. Well when you typed out Mike Vick and great QB in the same space you knew it was coming. Mike Vick was only a great QB in Madden, he left much to be desired as a RL QB.
  5. Rookie QB > Lamar anyway. If we want a qb to run the ball just bring Cam back for a hell of a lot cheaper than Lamar can be had. Lamar has not won anything meaningful, he is dumb as a box of rocks, and he cant stay healthy. Let Baltimore deal with that mess.
  6. It would have also been nice to have this kind of coaching staff when we had generational talents in Cam and Luke but that is neither here nor there. Tepper fuged up the first and second time around, first by trusting Hurney and second by trusting Rhule. He might have it figured out now in a shorter time than it has taken some owners.
  7. Tepper also loved Matt Rhule, I would ask Tepper which QB he likes and pick the opposite.
  8. For what? The guys best asset was supposed to be a cannon arm, and Stroud matched it at the combine, fug this guy, waste of time and resources.
  9. I think of all the teams with high draft picks looking for a QB right now, our coaching staff gives a rookie the best chance to become a franchise guy.
  10. Stroud has broken the mold his entire life, I would bet on him to do it again.
  11. I think he runs better Routes than anyone we have had in years he also has good hands. He has never been deadly fast anyway. I concur.
  12. " I thought you said no pictures! "
  13. They have experience with what? They all had 5 foot 10 inch 180 pound starting QBs? I guess they all coached Doug Flutie.
  14. So we have former players "critiquing" guys coming in from college, but none of them are concerned with Youngs size, which is easily the biggest knock on his game as well as arm strength. It sounds like they are not doing a very good job. I guess they all have crystal ball and know he is going to last 10-15 years as a starting NFL QB and his size wont be a problem at all.
  15. This guy would have to run a 4.2-4.3 for it to even matter. He isnt that fast.
  16. Lol none of the players want to say anything bad about another player who is about to get drafted and cost him millions...who woulda thought..... We have recent evidence with Tua, young is smaller than he is.
  17. This wasnt even a crushing blow, that was a routine NFL hit. Young could suffer the same fate or play for 10+ years....I dont want us to gamble on that .
  18. They are only counting height, they just throw body mass out the window. The dude is built like a middle school kid.
  19. How many threads are you guys going to create to convince the rest of us that we are taking mighty mouse @1, 100% !
  20. Yes, he is a 4.7-4.8 guy. I am kind of glad he is not spending countless hours to perfect his 40 time. He is fast enough to get a couple of yards with his legs when the opportunity arises.
  21. I thought it would be as a size coach to teach our new midget QB how to survive in the NFL as a small dude.... Jokes aside Munnerlyn was a beastly dude for his size
  22. Are any of them QBs? I recall some LBs with concussions...... I don't get the infatuation with drafting Doug flutie 2.0, if we pick the guy I will root for him, but im not thrilled about having the smallest starting QB in the league with the #1 pick, if he was a 3rd rounder that would be cool.
  23. The Bears want a certain type of backup with athletic abilities to suit their offense incase Fields gets hurt, They dont want 2 playbooks for 2 different QBs. Its not like PJ is about to be their starter, he still sucks.
  24. Weed doesnt produce this type of moron. He is on hard drugs.
  25. When he is not, barring a major catastrophe, bump yourself off the site. Dalton was not brought in to be a starter.
