    Wilks is not a NFL HC, it has nothing to do with him being black, but thats what kept him in consideration. If Wilks was white he probably doesnt even get the 1st interview, for sure never gets a 2nd wanting to hold on to Holcomb as his DC.

    Thats why Tepper kept Wilks in consideration for so long to protect himself from this nonsense. He can say without a doubt he gave Wilks serious consideration but decided to go another route. Wilks was never getting the HC job here.

    Im pretty sure Wilks ok'd these comments once he realized he wasnt getting the job here and no one else around the league was calling. He had nothing to lose at that point.

    Wilks was given the best shot at the job he could get and he did his interview like: I plan on keeping Holcomb as my DC all we need is a few lucky bounces and we can be the WC team that gets blown out sometimes if we get really lucky. Then he pulls some bullshit race crap, hell no, kick rocks.

    TBH, there wasnt a seven year plan with Rhule either, it was just some bullshit he was spreading hoping he could stick around that long. without anyone figuring out he has no idea what he was doing.

    ITs not corny if its the truth, The dude was a DC at Missouri before Rhule/Tepper pulled him out of his misery. He wasnt even good enough to be their head coach. He was out of the NFL since 2019. No one is seriously considering adding Wilks as their HC or DC, he MIGHT get a smaller role for some team but I wouldnt hold my breath.

    Playing the race card here is really fuging stupid for Wilks. He should have told his lawyers to keep this poo to themselves. Not hiring Wilks as the HC has nothing to do with him being a black man, it has everything to do with him not being HC material in the NFL.

    Im glad, we dont need Wilks as our DC, he is not good in that role. Maybe if he wants to stay as DB coach or something, but I would pass altogether.

    MoRon is a mediocre HC in the NFL. This is already proven as he has 3 winning season out of 12 as a HC. Reich had 3 winning seasons out of 4 in indy without a Cam Newton or Luke Keuchly.

    It is past time to draft and develop a guy, we have not had a real QB to develop since Cam and he was drafted 12 years ago.

    And they ended at 4-12-1, so to recap Reich was not their problem, like it was with us and Rhule. His replacement went 1-7 our replacement went 6-6 and he is an inferior coach to Reich.

    Thats the other way around, smart guy. Tom wouldn't be poo without BB holding his hand at the start of his career. Tom Brady at the beginning of his career is what Brock Purdy is right now.

    There isnt any, he has the possibility to be our best HC ever before coaching a game. Right now its Fox and Rivera which isnt a high bar to clear.

    He has what it takes to lead us to 8-9 or 9-8 over 17 games at his best and with a soft schedule

    Im pretty sure Reichs 4 years record of 37-28 is better than any panthers coach has done over 4 seasons and this is with poo QB play. If Ron ever matched this its because he had Cam and Luke not because he is a superior coach.

    Wilks is already a subpar DC as is, and people wanted him as HC with an even worse DC than he is...... I really dont get the Wilks love.

    Wilks had his shot and went 6-6 with a poo schedule. We got blown the fug out by the actual good team we played in the Bengals. The defense regressed and the offense was stale and predictable. Wilks has had more than enough shots in the NFL, maybe he can find a spot on his old buddy MoRons staff.

    So we are going to get another coach that likes to take shortcuts with QBs. He never showed any willingness to develop a QB in Indy, they just kept trading for old retreads. I wonder which bum we will get stuck with after they hire reich.....

    OP smoking crack. Nothing Wilks did was " amazing" He is a bottom tier NFL coach. It only appears like he did something great because Rhule was at best an OL assistant coach at the NFL level. If we dont hire Wilks no one else is either, hes not even getting a interview unless its to satisfy the rooney rule, the dude is not a NFL HC.

    Im not making an argument, I just think you have other reasons.... The Giants also have 4 super bowl wins..... I would rather see a team that has never won at all win it.
