    This is a rebuild year and they are treating it as such. The moves that have been made clear cap for the 2025 season, not 2024. I dont see us entertaining any FA's other than the cheap ones.

    It doesn't and its stupid. If you want to root for names go play fantasy football or something. Signing high priced FAs makes no sense at all in our timeline, trading anything outside of players also makes no sense. Yes the plan is to draft and develop that is how the best teams do it, not by signing a bunch of guys with well known names to stupid contracts.

    We traded Moore a 1st and a 2nd for Bryce Young. Lets dial back laughing at other teams trades.

    We dont even have money to spend and you talking about saving money. Go review our situation before spouting off at the mouth. We are not in a position to play kick the can and sign FAs to hefty contracts, stop being dumb. If we ever hope to be competitive these dumb ass knee jerk reactions need to stop, we are not one or even 5 players away.

    There is also that in Josh Sweat, Who only has 11 less sacks than Burns and is only a year older. The big thing is Josh sweat isnt looking for 30m+ a season. We are not getting what you guys are thinking for Burns unless we sing him to a contract and pay a good portion of his salary before trading him . No one is giving up a 1st+ for the right to pay him 30m+ a season.

    Barkley is over rated and has been since he was drafted. I want no parts of paying a RB. Chuba had just a good a year last season as Barkley did at a fraction of the cost. ' You guys seriously need to lay off of FA and names. We dont have cap to sign anyone and we dont have assets to trade for anyone.

    Its good that one of the only players we have drafted under Tepper that had any kind of talent was lost on our roster because we didnt know how to use him and he walked for nothing. Im failing to see how this is good.

    This dosent fit their narrative that Young wasnt given a chance. He is supposed to have 5 seconds of pocket time and WRs with 5 yards of separation.

    I know you would be more than happy to sign Purdy to the Panthers and make him the highest paid QB in NFL history. You would also be dumbfounded when we struggled to win 5 games again.

    Dude get a life, none of the damn FA's you have brought up are even remotely realistic for our team. Dont get mad with me because the team has wasted years of resources to field constant 5 win or worse teams. We will have enough trouble even building out our roster and you want to entertain high priced FA's.

    The 49ers found a QB and should be looking to upgrade from him before they are forced to pay him top end QB money. He is fine while on his rookie deal, but wouldn't want any part of him at 50m+ a season.

    What are we signing big names for? Adding Chris Jones or any other FA is not going to shift our win total dramatically it's just a waste of cap that we may need to sign someone with down the road when we actually have a good team. We are going to suck this season, just accept it.
