  1. True, but that was with a QB who was not scared to throw the ball farther than 5 yards. I will concede that Moose was better than Robby though.
  2. Its basically the same. One week we have the best coaches in the league, the next Huddlers can call better plays and everyone needs to be fired.
  3. Hoover was only a fan favorite, the guy was not that great. Smitty was better than DJ, but was Moose better than Robby? Proehl was an average #3, another fan favorite, but he was 35 at the time. Our 3rd WR has a lot more upside than that. CMC is definitely better than Davis and Foster combined. If CMC was healthy last year our skill positions were better, and they should be better this year.
  4. Somebody has to hold you to this. One face for each cheek.
  5. They said he had differences with employess/officials. That can only mean he did not get along with The Darnold.
  6. They always say if you have 2 QBs, you don't have a QB.
  7. When that happens it gives the other team bulletin board material. Wilson already knows better, we have a formidable pass rush and he does not want to get destroyed in his first NFL game. Not really sure he can call out the Panthers for sucking when he plays for the dumpster fire Jets.
  8. He has more upside and has had better seasons than Teddy with worse surrounding talent, that is all that matters at this point. Our guys did not like the QBs that were available to them in the draft. They probably had a 2nd round grade or lower on the QBs that went after pick #3. We did not select a QB, get over it. Sam can either flourish or fail, we are not winning a super bowl this season anyway. No reason to constantly down the guy.
  9. Teddy would never attempt this throw. Robby needs to be around the team as much as possible. Stop with the interviews and show up for practice.
  10. It was a dumb move to give him that contract to start with. Nobody around the league wanted this guy on anything more than a 1 year deal, but Hurney decided he deserved a multi year extension. Good riddance.
  11. Well during that time we had two of the worst GMs in the NFL when it comes to drafting. Hurney was decent in the first round, DG sucked all around. DG also decided not to pay Josh Norman, rescinded the tag, and then drafted 2 rookie CBs to start. It seems we have a real GM this time around.
  12. The basketball hall of fame is a joke. If you can play in the nba for 10 seasons and average about 15 ppg, 4 apg, 4 rpg, and have name recognition, you can be a hall of famer. Vlade Divac is a hall of famer.
  13. I don't think it was not calm or a Karen post, but you are advocating for guys like Sproles and Mitchell? This is not the NBA HoF where every decent player gets in. Those guys were basically return men who only got to see the field when the #1 RB got tired. They have very low TD numbers and only have yards from returning kicks for an absurd number of seasons. They did not have enough impact on the overall game to warrant a HoF nod. Nobody cares what size Sprolles was. If they are taking size into consideration Steve Smith is a first ballot guy, but they dont care what size a guy was. They care about the overall impact a player had on the game.
  14. He has no place in any HoF discussion. Rushing : 3552 yards 23 tds Receiving : 4840 yards 32 tds This is over 14 seasons, 183 games. Nobody cares that he has yards as a return man. They allowed him to be a return man because he was not important enough to the offense, they did not care if he got hurt. CMC in 51 games Rushing : 3145 yards 29 Tds Receiving : 2672 yards 16 TDs
  15. Do you really think Stat Padford is worth 2 1sts, a 3rd, and a player? That seems like a Hurney move and I am glad we did not make it.
  16. With the new 17 game schedule that is about 20 touches per game. Seems reasonable.
  17. The team that averaged the most offensive plays over that same period only ran 71 plays per game. It is not as big of a swing as you are thinking. One player touching the ball 30+ times a game is not a good offensive plan. Last year derrick Henry led the league in touches at 397, that is about 25 per game. you want CMC to crush that?
  18. Over the past 3 years we have ran an average of 64 offensive plays per game. So you want CMC to touch the ball on 1/2 or more of our plays?
  19. We have enough weapons to avoid that, 15-20 touches a game max.
  20. What exactly are Daviyon's off the field issues? The learning disability?
  21. I just don't see him as some great upgrade that a team must have. He would be a #1 for SF, but I am not sure they are a legitimate contender. For GB or Tenn he would be a #2 so he might help them more with less coverage on him. I guess he will be nice to have between the 20s but he has never been dominate in the red zone, i dont see him putting any team over the top. Will he be a nice complimentary piece? Sure. Ultimately ATL wants a 1st for him, i dont think they get that unless a team is desperate.
  22. Does he really move the needle for a super bowl run?
  23. I believe it is as well. I don't think anyone is giving up a 1st rounder for a 32 year old overpaid receiver. What will he realistically add to an offense? 800-1000 yards and 5 or 6 touchdowns for maybe 2 years if that? He has scored 8 or more touchdowns 4 times over a ten year career and only started all 16 games 3 times. Anything more than a late 2nd round pick is too much. I think a third is more likely.
