    Its not hard to describe a off-ball average LB that has cap hits of 8m,18m and 19m respectively. He is not Luke or TD. He has 4 forced fumbles and 1 int in his career. What part of that is worth those cap numbers? I know he is a favorite of some for some unknown reason other than he has been here a long time.

    I don't want to see anymore restructures for him. Replace him get the dead cap out of the way. We dont want an aging average LB when the team is ready to compete. Either ride it out and take the stupid cap hit or cut him and take the dead money cap hit. Either way its time to hit the door.

    He is not whitehead bad, but with that cap hit over the next few years he may as well be. No way his production will match his pay. It was a dumb contract, another in the long line of hurney. If he was being paid 4-5m a year I would have no problem with him.

    Those other guys also dont save us 2m by cutting them. Thomas is gone, we have no reason to keep him around. He could not manage to do anything noteworthy as the #1 TE, how will he be any better as the #3 TE?

    If our coaching staff thought Minshew was better than Darnold they would have traded for him instead. Everybody knew Jacksonville was taking Lawrence, to me that says we are not interested in Minshew.

    For me it is the contract. If we keep him next year he has a cap hit of 18m, if we cut him he has a dead cap hit of 12m, we are already paying him 8m this year. I dont want the team to waste 20-26m over the next 2 seasons for an average LB. 20m for one season if we just release him, 26m for 2 seasons if we keep him.

    Let people be happy. If they have been together for 11 years obviously something is going right. This is no different than shaming someone for their sexuality. Now if he was 48 with a 15 year old thats a whole different thing.

    Some people on the huddle obviously like overpaying off-ball linebackers. Shaq is an average starter nothing more.

    Dead cap for cutting him next year is 12m, im not sure if he is a june 1st cut how much it is. If we do just outright cut him, we are going to pay him 20m for one more than likely average season.

    Darnold is on the list once, they say he is the worst passer outside of the pocket. Lock and Wentz are very prominent throughout the article. Wentz is on it 3 times, Lock 4.

    Well Darnold is only on the list once and we possibly paid less for him than the colts did for Wentz.

    That basically means he did not put forth any effort to learn the playbook and sucked all around. The eagles only have 2 other qbs under contract.

    Players talk bs to the media, its not new. He is definitely just being nice and trying to fit in. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
