He is probably the best guy we can realistically get. I dont think its the best option, but im talking talent wise. No top tier QB is coming here to play under Rhule.

When they reach a certain level of advancement it will have to be done. Its not something that can happen right now, but if robots become so advanced that they can think for themselves, it will either be give them rights or face a robot army.

Well when you have the HC actively trying to move players into a spot where they can fail, this normally happens. Last year could have been magical with Cam coming back if we had any real nfl coaches on staff. Instead we are at one of the lowest points in Panthers history and Tepper just hit repeat.

We have had 27 first round picks and 9 of those have been a LB or RB, that just really makes no sense. You don't spend 1/3rd of your first round picks on those positions. Out of those picks we really hit a homerun on 1, Luke. The rest of the guys were nice, but not all time greats that you would expect when you pick a low value position at a high value pick.

Ahh ok, but you were still overstating moores contributions. He had 12 Tds out of 47 which is a little more than 1/4th of the TDs. So assuming he was playing with the passing TD leader and his pattern remained about the same, he would have around 10 TDs. You would have to also assume he could take Mike Evans spot on the Bucs and be the #1 WR. I think replacing Evans with Moore would cause Brady to have less overall TDs, but thats just me.

Thats all well and good but you made an arithmetic error, 16+17+24 = 57. Dj has had 2, 4, 4, and 4 TDs each of his seasons. He is not a huge RZ threat. He is a good player but he is not an elite #1 WR. Also DJ has 14 TD catches in his career, not 16. With the contract we gave Robby we will have to pay DJ 18m+ per season and I am not comfortable with that.

And thats it, he is a yards WR, he is never going to be the guy to consistently post double digit touchdowns. With a good QB I would expect him to have 1200ish yards with 5-7 TDs. Its just who he is. IF we can sign him to a decent contract I dont mind keeping him. If he is looking to break the bank see what other teams will offer.

IF they have the money to post that bond, notice I said broke not someone with a couple thousand dollars to post bond. What kind of punk ass punishment will the justice system give him? Thats the persona when in front of the camera. Most of the guys in the NFL are chill, likable dudes when the cameras are on. You dont chase someone down and beat the holy hell out of them because you thought he might have done something to your group if you are a chill and likeable dude.

He does not care. The NFL wanted JR gone and Tepper in so he could tow the company line. We are supposed to be bottom dwellers in the league. They warned us the first time with Delhomme and made sure the Patriots would beat us by knowing all our plays. Changing the game plan at halftime almost foiled their plans but not quite. Then we pulled this poo we did with Cam going 15-1 and forcing them to step in to make sure Forehead went out with a ring. That was enough for the NFL. We need to be irrelevant for at least 20 years before we get any serious consideration.

I was just wondering, we had a Julio thread here last offseason with quite a few guys drooling over him. We see how that worked out. DJ has a chance to end up like Cooks. Bouncing all around the league because he is not as good as he thinks he is and wants a boatload of money.

Like I said you are overrating him. McLaurin and Metcalf are superior to DJ. I wonder how much you overhyped Julio before he got traded last year, you have some sort of WR fetish. DJ is a middling WR, he does not catch the tough passes, he does not have a big body, he is not a red zone threat. He is good with YAC and needs someone that can deliver the ball on time. You dont pay top end money for that kind of WR. IF he can be had for 16-18m sure, if not good luck up on the commanders with your buddy Samuel, we see how it worked out for him.

To put up similar numbers on an absurd contract? DJ would be best with a guy that can hit the deep shots, not mac fuggin jones. Dj with mac jones would get 1k yards with 4-5 TDs for a stupid amount of money.

Its not being silly, his contract value is going to be more than his actual worth. He does not belong with the real top end WRs in this league, yet you want to pay him like he does. Anything over 18m per season is an overpay, but you are ready to give up 21-22m per season for a guy that is more like a top 15 WR, not a top 5 WR. I get he is our draft pick and has been here for a few years but some of you get too attached and start overhyping our players. DJ is worth a tad more than Samuel was, thats it.

Which of the WRs on that list making 17m or more a year is DJ better than? IF we pay more than 18 a year it is an overpay. And that is with hopes he will get a little better. If any team pays him more than that it is going to be a dumpster fire team so good luck to him. No top team is paying him that much.

Moore belong somewhere in that 13-15m range. Robby has no business being that high, he only makes that much because of Rhule.

Im not unserious, but I dont see how paying a guy 21 mil per season is going to help us when it hasnt helped us with him playing on a rookie contract. If we overpaid CMC, that is a crazy overpay for Moore.
