It took Shaq how many years to just be a "good" LB. It is not slander if it is the truth. Yes he is one of our best players and a leader now but he has been in the league for 8 years. He was drafted in the first round and has never made a pro bowl. They were both over drafted and not only that but Shaq got overpaid, hopefully we dont make the same mistake with Brown.

I see you think Kyler is better than he is too. He took his team to one playoff game and looked abysmal, the guy does not study film and he is severely undersized. If you think paying that guy like an elite QB is good idea more power to you.

Rhule is going with a 2 OL system this year to compliment his 2 QB system.

Lets see the how the seahawks/broncos situation plays out. We might see more of these guys start to move who are around the 12-15 range for QBs instead of the team that drafted them paying them way more than they are worth.

He is at least 70m better than Murray if he returns to his previous form.

Now we see the problem with having a top 15-20 type QB who thinks he is better than what he actually is. Cardinals just paid like Murray like he is a Rodgers/Manning/Brady level QB when he is just an average starter.

Most people had us in the bottom 5 teams before adding Baker. You said yourself that Baker was the 18th-20th ranked QB. I dont know how that makes that much of a jump. I would love for us to make the playoffs and contend, but I just dont see it.

And that is being generous. I am sure there are several OC/DC we would all rather have over Rhule. I am sure he is further down than 36.

Its dumb to have an opinion on something that can be proven or disproven with stats. It is even dumber to express that opinion on TV. Baker might not have everything you want in a QB, but he for sure has a big arm.

For sure, i just dont know if he is good enough to make a difference.

So hes basically the best smelling turd in the toilet. All these guys are either very young or their teams are actively looking to upgrade from them. Even with Hurts and Tua they are fighting for their future as the starters of their teams. Even with that Baker can be our 3rd best QB to play in Carolina because we have had such garbage at the position over the years.

I still think the Panthers are going for the Arch Manning route.......its in the NFL rules that having a Manning at QB guarantees you at least one super bowl.

Yea...except for that part that he has thrown 73 TDs to 25 ints over the past 2 seasons....

7-10 at best until one of our QBs proves he deserves to play with the big boys.

I would rather see Corral play too , I dont even like Baker, but we have had trash at QB outside of Cam and a few seasons when Jake and Steve were decent. Out of our top 10 TD passes per season by a QB, Cam has 6 of those, Jake and Steve each have 2. We have passed for more than 30 td passes only twice. 2 of those top 10 TD seasons are less than 20.

We have one guy that they have to make a game plan for. The problem is he only plays 5 games a season now and then goes lives his best life on IG.

He has a chance to be if he can pull his head out of his ass. Jake was not a great QB, in fact the talk about John Fox was how he could win without a franchise QB when he had Jake. I loved Jake he was a great dude, but he was not a franchise QB. Steve was decent but never had a winning season in Carolina. Kerry Collins was a drunk who mostly threw more Ints than TDs. Baker can be better than all 3 of these guys just because he has more talent, if he is actually better than them in Carolina is a whole different story.

We have won 4 home games under Rhule in 2 seasons. We dont have a homefield advantage, our stadium is usually flooded with the other teams fans.

Damn how often is this fuger not healthy if he has only thrown 22 ints when healthy? Because he has thrown 56 in his career.

If Baker was as good as Herbert or Burrow half the league would have been clamoring to trade for him when he became available. If he were as good as either of them, the Browns never trade for Watson. You dont get a Herbert or Burrow level talent for a conditional 5th and ~5m Lay off the crack.

Rhule will probably stash Darnold on IR during preseason just so he can keep PJ on the roster. I dont see a scenario where Rhule cuts PJ.
