Thats cool, my original post was about Fitt being shown the door with Rhule and co. and I still believe that. He is the weak link of our front office imo. He might doom Reichs time here with his bad drafting and we will need to rid ourselves of both of them, but will probably just fire Fitt and get a new GM. I dont want to go into a cycle of new coach, new gm every other year. They should have been hired in the same cycle, Fitt had done nothing to make keeping him a great move and nobody would have had a problem with letting him go.

We also had a bad ass defense and a generational QB in his prime. This year our best Defensive player is a pass rusher only and we have a rookie QB.

They have to pay him after turning down " The Trade" I just dont consider it a "win". That went out the window when we decided a pass rush specialist that is a huge liability in stopping the run was worth more than The Trade.

Are you guys still bitching about the preseason? I have never seen such bullshit about preseason games, they dont ***** count for anything. The Majority of the bums that played during preseason arent on our team or any other team for that matter. Never seen such an uproar over guys who arent going to see the field for any team this year or any year for that matter.

People are still depending on a RB to deliver us wins? Will they never learn? RB is an after thought in todays NFL. We had arguably the best RB in the league for a couple season and averaged 5 wins a year. RBs do not win games anymore. The OL has more to do with their success than the actual RB. As long as the RB can catch an occasional pass and not fumble a ton hes good enough.

Surely overpaying Burns is a win right? lol. Fitt should have been shown the door with Rhule and co. He has done next to nothing since he has been here, no better than Hurney at drafting after the 1st round.

We have to stop the run to win this game. We have not been good at that for a few years now, I dont know if 1 game under new coaches is going to change that.

The only reason he is DC in SF right now is because Tepper gave him a chance to show what he had. The guy isnt HC material, I didnt even care for him as our DC under Ron. Before he was brought onto Rhules staff he had been out of the NFL since 2019 and was a DC at missouri, not quite a dream job.

Hardy could stop the run though. Burns gets taken out of run plays by TEs which leaves their OL to take our LBs out. This is a big reason you see us get gashed in the run game over and over. A top tier Edge should not be getting blocked 1 on 1 by a TE.

Only one of these guys is tops at his position, unfortunately its the least valuable position on offense outside of FB. DJ is a high end #2, low end #1 and burns is a pass rush specialist.

Burns signs for 29.5m AAV, puts up 8 sacks and looks worse than ever against the run, most Panther thing ever.

The Rams offered us 2 1sts and a 2nd for him and the Panthers declined , that was basically writing him a blank check. If he never knew of the trade he might sign for that 24m, now he will be a douche and milk them for every penny he can. They either pay up or take a offer worth much less than the Rams offered.

We would have to do Burns + a 1st at least to get Bosa, even then it probably doesnt get done, they would probably want more. Bosa is a DMVP, Burns is just a pass rusher.

Well our OL in practice featured Cam Erving getting beat like a drum by several different guys. Hopefully he doesnt have to see the field in the regular season. By all accounts we did much better in the practice sessions than in the game that the Jets schemed for and we didnt.
