  1. What you are saying about Theilen is true, however they opted to upgrade the other positions around Bryce instead of him because he was at least capable last season the other guys didnt even show that. We still have Mingo as well who could play in the slot if he has developed any.
  2. And we dont have any real options on the roster because they are scared to give him any kind of competition. I definitely didnt mean that though.
  3. That was last offseason and because of his contract we are stuck with him and the only thing we could really do was a draft a guy and we drafted one that is supposedly pretty good although coming off an injury. As for Renfrow I dont see a spot for him on our roster unless we are ditching Thielen who had the best chemistry with Bryce last season which would be a dumbass move.
  4. At this point they arent world beaters by any means, but I think they are good enough to at least evaluate Bryce and better than what he had last season. I still think the results are going to be largely the same, but I think any average type QB could have some kind of success with them. Better than worst team in the league anyway.
  5. Do you think all of our WRs should have the same skillset? We got Johnson who is supposed to be the shifty WR and probably has more upside than Renfrow. We also have Thielen who is basically an old Renfrow. Do we need more Renfrows on the roster? I dont really get the love for the dude, he has one season over 1k yards with 9 TDs and a bunch of meh seasons. Dude hasnt topped 400 yards in 2 seasons.
  6. In the article it said that is what Aho translated Keep Pounding to in French.
  7. What team would he be a good fit for? There are only so miami dolphins rosters to go around. Not like we can go out and grab Tyreek Hill, CMC, and Travis Kelce to make Bryce look like an average QB. He has to work with what we have and the majority of this is on Tepper for thinking a 5'9" 185 pound guy was going to come in and take the league by storm.
  8. Tepper's priority has been proving he is the smartest guy in the room by making dumb ass decisions that haven t worked out. He is the type of owner that wants all the good praise lapped on him and all the bad praise on his flunkies. He wants to be the main reason we win and so far that has resulted in a bunch or 5 wins or less seasons.
  9. Deeper drops from under center are not really an option, he is going to get sacked into oblivion. Then you guys will start blaming the OL. All this should have been known when drafting the dude, but Tepper is a fuging moron. He has to play the majority of his snaps in pistol/shotgun and there are times even in those formations where he cant see the field.
  10. Good for him , he is guaranteed at least a practice squad spot now with the IPP rules.
  11. Ready for the games to start so you guys can tell us which players we can judge this season. As far as I can tell right now we are allowed to judge Icky and Corbett on offense and Horn on D, am I missing anyone?
  12. I hope he sucks terribly and Cousins doesnt return to form. Or Cousins plays just good enough to keep him on the bench for the majority of his rookie deal.
  13. We can judge the Falcons QB situation, its better than ours is. End of story.
  14. Well we already had one of these threads about this bullshit a while back. Sorry that Bryce sucks and pointing out that fact hurts your feelings. I wouldnt give a flying fug if he was short but could actually play the position.
  15. Bryce isnt a top 10 QB and looks to never be one, so your argument is irrelevant. If Penix sucks they look dumb, if he is great they don't look dumb. They dont get props, but I dont get all the hate especially from our team. It seems more like hoping that Penix will suck and Cousins gets hurt again to me.
  16. It's almost worse than trading DJ Moore, swapping picks, and giving up a 1st + 2nd round pick for Bryce Young. If Penix becomes a top 10 type of QB no one will care where he was drafted or that Cousins was already on the team They invested twice in the most important position. I have seen a ton of you clamoring for some competition for mighty midget. I hate the falcons, but stop judging their QBs when we have the worst starter in the league until proven otherwise.
  17. We are not in any position to judge another teams QB situation when ours needs a running start to throw a 20 yard wobbler.
  18. Canales is talking about a run heavy offense. Last year there were times when teams put 10 guys in the box and dared BY to throw the ball. Heavy run does not work without the threat of deep passing which Bryce struggles with. I don't see anyway that this is going to work out. Heavy run game/PA wco? Lol
  19. The only thing they have left is he was durable. Let's forget that he displayed a weak arm, terrible mechanics, and held the ball way too long because he was scared to throw/Couldn't see the field.
  20. Being a run heavy team means deep PA passes which Bryce can't do.
  21. We have been telling you guys this for months but everyone still wants to claim leagues worst OL doomed Bryce. He's not an NFL talent due to physical limitations and there is no way to overcome that, it's over.
  22. Pretty much what any of us with a brain has been saying. The position will need to upgraded in the near future in order for us to compete.
  23. We still have those? That guy was never good enough as a Panther to still be a fan of him playing for another team.
  24. Unless you are a QB or something this is what you are supposed to do. You dont show weakness after taking a big hit, you pop back up like nothing happened. You can guarantee he was feeling it on the inside though.
