  1. He had zero itch to get to the LOS and spike the ball or call a TO. Did the minicomputer forget the urgency of a two minute drill?
  2. Games with Bryce, hardly any down the field shots. With Dalton, the playbook opened up. All of a sudden the playbook shrank again with Young back.
  3. So Bryce can miss more targets, get more delay of game penalties and mismanage the clock?
  4. Not the playcalling, BY is a rookie that looks like a rookie.
  5. Time to flip Sanders and Chuba. Sanders is a much better 3rd down back and Hubbard has learned to hit the holes hard.
  6. Nah, not on a play to play basis. Literally EVERY snap for BY.
  7. If the we can keep this thing within a score at halftime, Dalton needs to come in. The rookie is making too many errors.
  8. Also, AT triple covered because the rest of our WRs are garbage.
  9. Why does Young always run the clock down to 1 second??????
  10. I literally wanted Bryce's ankle to mend just one more week. This Vikings defense is ripe for the taking. Dalton would have made me a lot less nervous for this game....dare I say excited. I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda bummed when Young was named the starter this week.
  11. Sanders hesitates too much. That is one reason Hubbard has improved, he has stopped doing that.
  12. Bryce about got AT kiiled. Good thing the LB slipped or that could have been a kill shot.
  13. On the bright side, he's on my fantasy team. If it wasn't for holding on their first drive that led to the subsequent pick 6, he'd already have two TDs in the bag.
  14. Pay the man!!! Seriously, this is the reason you don't. Dude has a couple monster games a year; a few with decent production and a WHOLE BUNCH of ghost games.
  15. I think we can definitely say Sanders, Thomas and TMJ need zero plays called for them the rest of the game.
  16. Move the chains, easy completions and build BY's confidence. If we get a first down or two, then try for some chunk plays.
  17. Alright!!! So we are actually capable of 3 and outs!
  18. Let's get them from marching right back down the field. We've GOT to put up some resistance between the 20's.
  19. Tepper for sure is a horrible football owner, but I'm going to give Fitterer one more offseason to prove himself. This is his first year without Rhule and since Rome wasn't built in a day, I'll afford him one more swing at this. If this team is still basement dwelling next season, it will be time for Scott to pack up his things and leave. Yes, even a mid-season dismissal if it's going that bad.
  20. We suck at drafting WRs, especially of late. We look at potential over production. Outside of QB, I think WR is the most stat driven position in football where the proof is in the pudding. When we continue to draft guys with "upside," "intangibles," and "athletic traits" over dudes with proven production and gaudy stat lines, then this is EXACTLY what you get.
  21. Not even remotely a piece or two away for our team. If you can get two starters for the price of one, you do it. Franchise players are the exception to the rule and Burns is not a franchise player. He's really good, but not the cornerstone of this team.
  22. Informal poll: Should we have let Bryce "rest" his ankle an additional week versus one of the most winnable games left on the schedule today versus the Vikings and have rolled with Dalton to get that goose egg out of the win column?
  23. I knew when the team was saying TMJ was the #2 we were screwed. Dude is a bust, period. Not every draft pick can be salvaged when they obviously don't meet expectations. AT was going to provide some plays from the slot, but his days of taking over games are, well...over. That left a rookie as the #1, one of which I was not high on. Mingo was not one the WRs I wanted to draft.
  24. The Saints are doing just fine with Carr and probably would be undefeated if he didn't get injured. We should have kept our #1 or traded back for picks and got a WR or two, TE and RB. Remember we originally had another 2nd for CMC. That all could have been knocked out before the 4th round! All those guys could have gotten their feet wet this year and been ready to roll when we took either Williams, Maye, Penix Jr., Ward, Nix, Travis or Sanders. That's even before you get to Hartman, Van Dyke, Daniels, Leonard, Jefferson, Gabriel and Reed. Whew, my fingers are tired from typing all those options.
  25. Impatience. More so on the owner's side than even the fan base I would think. Trying to force something to happen can make a bad situation worse in some instances
