I'm not sure where you got that data, but I would love to see just days 1 and 2 (rounds1-3). I'm certain that list would change a good deal.

If I'm not mistaken, the Rams and Pats had a TON of day 3 picks the past several drafts. We all know those guys generally don't pan out. That would skew those number significantly. I mean, we have done worse with the fewest picks in the bottom 1/4 of that list in the League. The Vikings nearly doubled our picks and are only a couple spots below us.

You know when this downward spiral started? When Tepper went all-in on analytics. Let scouts scout and let the nerds play Xbox.

WE keep changing GMs, but have largely left our scouting department in tact. Some turnover this offseason (after the draft) so we shall see.

Kinda like a favorite hobby you've nearly given up on. You miss it, but have moved on to other things to fill that void.

Passing up Payton Wilson for Tevin Wallace was a huge red flag for me. I think Morgan is a better pro scout than college.

Dalton was not the main problem today. Poor game planning, poor/no adjustments, shoddy defense and injuries. Dalton didn't have a stellar day, but he is way down the list of reasons for today's failure.

Does anyone think that we didn't get anything short of completely fleeced in the Bears trade at this point? There has to be one knucklehead still out there.

At this point, picking up limbs, sticks and pine cones seems like a better time than watching this game.

Our defense

The flats are closed!!!

Outside of the long TD, we haven't established the run well enough to have their secondary cheat up. They are just playing a shell coverage and rallying to the ball. If we are going to play small ball, the flats have been shut down. So slants and quick outs are going to have to be called in order to pull those defenders closer to the LOS. Their defense is playing very disciplined right now.

Huh? Not what I saw. It looked like Andy thought he saw an opening to take off up the gut. There was no pressure from the left side of the line.

No, it goes to show with a competent QB this one should be in the bag. If a rookie QB boat races our defense, then this team is screwed...again. We finally can generate offense just to have opponents march up and down the field at will in our D. With a greenhorn QB, that would be even more humiliating.

We face rookie QBs 3 out of the next 4 weeks. Got to pick up the 'dubs' in these games as the wins are going to be harder come by after that stretch. The defense has to stiffen up. I think the offense can put enough point on the board to do the job to out duel these rookie signal callers.
