  1. Lol, there's a reason Rhule didn't want a rookie QB. He was at least that smart.
  2. Bryce needs a strong supporting cast to succeed. We don't have it here, therefore we likely won't know for several years until we get him weapons or he goes to another team. He's not good enough, especially at this stage of his early career, to carry a team on his back.
  3. The problem with Frank is he didn't want to piss off his new boss and went along with Tepper's choice of QB.
  4. Lol, Whuuuut? Yet, an alleged tush pat and remarks of a facial feature of a black man crosses the line. Yes, 20+ gold diggers were all after Watson's money. However three NDAs is somehow worse? Richardson didn't go to jail either, but yet he was guilty in the eyes of a lot of people, including nearly all of the Huddle.
  5. This is going to piss a lot of people off, but we are going to have to-full tilt-invest in the run game. Play action is the only way this passing attack is going to get any life to it. We've got to make teams condense the box in order for any of our WRs (not named Adam Thielen) to get open and less bodies in secondary to account for giving Bryce easier throws. Until we can get the rushing attack in high gear, our passing game will continue to suffer.
  6. I mean honestly most of us probably occasionally stop by the official site (or used to) so it's not like the content is hard to find without the bot.
  7. I like the Flutie comp. Garcia had a ton of moxie and the those 49er teams were pretty good too. In an ideal situation and Bryce gets some dawg in him, the Garcia comp could be apt.
  8. I blame the team. Bryce is on the team. He's the starting QB and lead us to a whopping 14 points. There's a trend here being we can't stretch the field and teams realize that. He's not solely to blame, but he can't be held blameless either.
  9. And veteran QBs even as mediocre as they were. No, Rhule sucked, period. Frank is charged with a rebuild no matter how he twists himself into a pretzel to call it otherwise.
  10. Tepper wants sycophants, it makes him feel important.
  11. My comp would be Ty Detmer in his two seasons with Philly. Not a horrible QB and very serviceable, but not your franchise QB.
  12. Watson had 20+ women saying his rub and tugs were not consenting. Fully guaranteed $230M contract!!!!
  13. They wanted a point guard, they got a point guard. In the right offense, Bryce could be very good. In an offense that's about taking shots down field and going vertical versus horizontal...he'll bust.
  14. That got us Cam Newton and over a decade of labor peace. I can see why you are so upset.
  15. He came out in the Atlanta game with a huge chip on his shoulders and balled out for the first quarter. Burns has been barely a blimp on the radar since then.
  16. He's retired???????? Crap, I thought we were about the same age.
  17. Why we are treating Burns as an untouchable is beyond me. Patrick Mahommes is off limits for trade. That makes sense. Burns though? I simply don't get it.
  18. Can I get a recap? Here's what I remember reading that was made public: Allegedly tapped girls on the tushy, one saying he bushed her side boob while holding open a door for her and the racist thing was saying a scout had a really wide nose--who happened to be black. That was the extent I can recall that was made public. Now, is that bad, sure. Bad enough to shame into selling a team? No. Could it have been worse? Sure, but I can't recall it and how the media loves sensationalism, I don't they held back any of the explicit details assuming there were more egregious acts.
  19. The reason he dedicated his time and energy to bring a franchise here, right? Totally makes sense. Too many people put too much stock in the midfield logo thing. Ultimately the organization and League he loved stabbed him in the back.
  20. Correct, not forced to sell, but the media onslaught with the embarrassment it brought to the team, League and his family, Jerry took the quick and less messy way out. He could have fought to keep the team considering the infractions were, on the grand scale of things, very minor, but he chose to make the situation go away as soon as possible. Remember, he set a self-imposed deadline for the sale to ensure a quick resolution for everyone involved. I also remember Tepper not having the highest bid, but that's who the League wanted.
  21. Dude was 80+. Really? Jerry could barely stay awake in his box for 1pm games.
  22. ^^^^This. They knew Jerry love the League and if quietly asked to step away--notice I didn't say forced--they knew he'd likely go without a fight. Snyder, being the prick he is, was going to go down swinging no matter how much evidence of wrongdoing there was.
