  1. Better REALLY hope Caleb or Drake decides to return.
  2. No slight to Frank, but I don't think he was meant to mentor a rookie QB from the ground up. He's been in the QB reclamation business too long. We would be a .500 team with a solid veteran QB starting from the outset instead of Bryce.
  3. So we gave up all that draft capital for a feasible QB? We could have stuck with Darnold or Mayfield for a feasible QB1 and kept all our draft picks.
  4. Frank liked his big-arm, tall, veteran QBs. This was never going to work with Bryce.
  5. Will he be bringing players with him?
  6. Sacrifice. Frank looked beat down and even with another win or two would not have saved his job. He probably added years back on to his life by getting out of here. If Tepper thinks this firing quieted the saber rattling, he's delusional.
  7. That's the problem, 2024 is a prime year to draft a QB. 2025? Not so much. The top two QBs are underclassmen who have zero incentive to return and the next several guys are seniors+ and most have to come out. What does that leave for 2025? Not much.
  8. They are cautious not to be too quick to judgement on QBs as they take the longest to develop. Generally I would agree, but like you said, I don't see the potential. If I saw NFL qualities, I could be patient, but I don't. It's not ONLY about the record. Trevor Lawrence, Peyton Manning, Aikman etc... all had rough rookie campaigns, BUT you saw the traits that would eventually make them great. I see nothing in Bryce that leads me to believe he can be a QB1 at this level.
  9. Facts. Tepper, by devoting (wasting) another year on Bryce, this team is going to miss out on this immense QB draft. YES, it's deep enough to get a QB1 At #33.
  10. It's funny now that Frank has been fired that the ESPN talking heads are NOW questioning Bryce. Sure, they are still making some excuses because of his supporting cast, but this is the first time I have heard them openly questioning if he's going pan out as a QB1. Rex Ryan didn't mince words, he said Bryce was not going to cut it in the NFL.
  11. Any insight on Fitterer? Honestly, he should have been the first to go as he assembled the team. Frank was tasked to work with what he was given.
  12. No, I honestly don't think Frank knew what he was getting himself into. Yes, this is the NFL, but how many people take a job thinking it's a fit for them only to realize after a few months they took the wrong job.
  13. The ONLY reason someone will want to work for Tepper.
  14. Two or three stumbling blocks for the next HC: Tepper, Bryce and possibly Fitterer.
  15. https://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=38991167 Rex Ryan says it all. Orlovsky takes more of a neutral stance.
  16. Question being will we get a serious candidate for HC or someone looking for a quick payday? Heck, I'd be willing to get fired in one year if the payout is $40 million.
  17. I'd never would have imagined we would be in the same conversation of incompetence as the Browns and Jets, yet here we are.
  18. Eventually yes, but that's not who I think he really wanted initially. I hope Frank does eventually give his side of the story, but he's classy and I doubt he airs the dirty laundry. Honestly, even if he does, I wouldn't think less of him because this fan base needs an explanation and you know Tepper isn't going to give us a straight, HONEST, answer.
  19. Exactly why guys will be REALLY hesitant to take this job--all other aspects of this dumpster fire organization aside.
  20. Hmmm, Peyton curiously stayed away from a job that needed a rookie QB. Why, I wonder?
  21. If Tepper was a car shop owner to his newly hired head mechanic: You have 11 days to fix this!
  22. Super Bowl winning QB at the helm. While Wilson regressed under the previous staff, Sean knew he could get Russell back to his former self. Denver also had a new ownership group and too soon to know if they are 'good' or 'bad' Your point isn't, well, on point either.
