  1. All the time in the world right there--the OL actually held up on 3rd down and he STILL checks it down.
  2. The commentators have even pointed out that Bryce is only throwing in-breaking routes and the reason the DBs are jumping all the routes. BuT oUr WrS aRe TrAsh!!!
  3. Tabor, Brown, Evero....it wouldn't matter because the main problem is at QB. Firing Frank was meant to take the heat off of Bryce, to buy him more time to develop and clearly that hasn't worked. Tepper is running out of excuses for the S2 wonder kid.
  4. LMAO!!!! Y'all fell for Tepper's scapegoat ploy. Suckers!!!!!
  5. Running into the kicker, though not called, and now a blocked kick. Our new HC is a STs dude. Too much on his plate?
  6. Dozed off before the game started and just woke up, I see I haven't missed much, lol.
  7. It's pouring rain and supposed to do so all day, so what else is there to do? It's sad when watching the Panthers is the last resort to being utterly bored.
  8. It will be a break year. His mechanics are so extremely flawed which will prevent him from being the QB we need him to be. In the mean time, unless a lot of top tier college QBs have a change of heart, we will be seeing a lot of talent pass us by this April. And many thought Stroud was the QB we missed out on. Heads will spin come the draft.
  9. Is Bryce the starter in 2024? Then no, I have no patience. The same with Fitterer if still here. I will only have hope if Bryce is given competition, REAL competition (he will lose) Fitterer is gone and Tepper hires a President of Football Operations and just flies in on Sundays to sit in his box. Outside of that, I may find a new hobby next fall.
  10. He's been healthy of late and being 'older' is actually a PLUS with me at the QB position now. You know who has struggled mightily or outright sucked in the League? Underclassmen QBs. OJT is to be done in college, not in the NFL. We can get weapons, but we need the right GM to make those calls. Not all of them have to come from this draft class, we can dip into FA as well.
  11. Why would it be? He can keep signing guards off the street, but couldn't anyone do that? Does he need to stay to shuffle around the practice squad and slots #51, #52 an d#53 on the regular roster? He either needs to go NOW or we are screwed. Scouting is in full swing for next year, especially for the draft and if Scott is not going to be here, that's putting the next GM behind the 8 ball.
  12. Can't say BPA and exclude QB especially if QB happens to be BPA. I agree that we need help everywhere and should simply zero in on any particular position.
  13. Penix is a lefty, so Ickey would be on his front side an Moton on his blindside. Without shuffling the cards, this could be a quick fix if only we can solidify the guard positions.
  14. Still the lowest graded offensive player yesterday. So being better is relative because he's a seasoned veteran and should play better than rookies and second year guys.
  15. So we would pass this up at #33 if available? If so, Tepper is a freaking moron. The entire video is good and this in last year. Sorry, Bryce can't make this throw to 7:57 even with time.
  16. I'm beginning my draft digging currently, I usually wait for the college regular season to wrap, which just happened. One thing is crystal clear about TEs, after Bowers, the drop off in talent is like a steep cliff. Yes, Bowers is elite, but even if he weren't maybe three or four TEs get drafted before day 3. Possibly one guy in round two and a couple in the third.
  17. Weak class bro. We wait and wait and wait and wait and when we decide we can't wait anymore, we draft a guy in a bad draft class for that position out of desperation. It's the Panther way.
  18. If the right QB is there, definitely QB. The TE class is weak. Interior OL can be had later.
  19. Having the right QB matters. The defense can only do so much when the offense can't put points on the board. I still can't believe they gave Jones a new deal.
  20. If I remember correctly, Johnson declined an interview as was as Jim Bob Cooter. Steichen got an interview which means Tepper was interested, but thought the interview didn't go well. Minshew is also one of the top backups in the League. Some of us (me included) wanted to go this route and take a QB this coming April. Hard to tell what kind of success he would be having with Young in Indy if Bryce ended up there instead of here.
  21. Tepper tried, but with only 32 of these jobs--as people like to say--a couple candidates said thanks, but no thanks to Dave. It's eye opening when dudes turn down millions of dollars to stay away from this dumpster fire, career killing organization.
  22. Russell was on a better overall team than Steve too and only with a few more wins to show for it. Russell was out of the league in 3 years.
  23. He put in this disclaimer. Not that Reich could have turned this into Super Bowl winning team, but we will never know. King's point being that I think you missed is if Knoll, Walsh, Johnson to a lesser extent Campbell all got canned during/immediately after their first season then history would be different. He wasn't saying with time Reich would be a HOF coach leading us to multiple Super Bowls, rather if those HOF coaches all got the ax a year or less in, those teams likely would have not been the same.
  24. Sure, but one with a winning record until he took this job. Crazy how coincidental that is, right? Carolina is the place where coaching resumes get a permanent black eye.
