  1. In a WAY trade back, then possibly. I'm talking around pick #20. We had better get a massive haul for moving back that far though. Knowing us, it will be for like 3rd and a conditional 7th.
  2. A difference maker every down, not a situational pass rusher. The most Panther thing we can do is draft Brian Burns 2.0--anywhere from 0-2 splash plays of production a game. In no particular order, I want (realistically may still available at #8): Warren, Tet or Graham (a 3 down D-lineman)
  3. Blowing it will be drafting a mediocre pass rusher at #8 and that's the way we seem to be leaning. Blowing it seems to be inevitable, actually, now I think about it.
  4. Ooof...don't jinx the man like that. We already have black cat as our mascot. Take it back.

    Rumors

Right now I think this: Titans: Ward (possibly Hunter) Browns: Carter (possibly Sanders) Giants: Hunter (possibly Sanders-Sanders fall BIG TIME if not picked here) Pats: Campbell Jags: Graham Raiders: Jeanty Jets: Membou/Warren/Tet Panthers: Options: Warren or Tet, not both, and whatever defensive player we want not named Carter or Graham.

    Rumors

The Jets are looking for OT or WR/TE. If they go OT, then we likely could have Tet AND Warren available at #8.
  7. This is case we don't get a RB in the draft. That's all. Purely an insurance policy.
  8. That's because there's a feeling among some folks that the Jets are smitten with him.
  9. Pretty much the same, but I would squeeze Tet between Warren and Walker.
  10. Royals or Noel. We suck at drafting 'X' WRs in the 2nd round. Maybe if we target a slot guy, our luck may change. Remember, Theilen is just a one-year deal. We need to think about his replacement.
  11. I'm not liking the Edge guys after Carter for us at #8. As long as we take BPA NOT Edge, I'm good. I feel they are overvalued and under-performing. Not super crazy about Walker either, but I'd prefer him over Stewart, Scourton, Williams and Pearce.
  12. You should be. If he was a couple inches taller and a 10-15 pounds heavier, he'd be a first rounder.Dude broke 1000 yards with another 1000 yard guy opposite of him. His stats would be stupid if the was the only mouth to feed on that Iowa State team.
  13. He got outbid, period. Fortunately there is at least one franchise more stupid than us. It wasn't for a lack of trying on Tepper's behalf. If the Browns would have bailed at the last second, Watson would be our problem.
  14. Good for Frank on stop gap deal. If Stanford balls out, he may be asked to stay. He's probably still bitter how he got railroaded here by Tepper and wants to give it another go with a front office guy he knows and trusts.
  15. Any good massage parlors around BOA? Asking for a dude with connections to the Browns who wants to remain anonymous.
  16. Consensus is trending on Jalon Walker as our pick for #8
  17. YES! If we miss out on Tet in round one, this could be our dude. The only thing is he would have to picked in the second round. You KNOW our track record with second round WRs--outside of Moose (in the 90's).
  18. We don't DRAFT Clemson guys, we occasionally will sign a free agent from there. Just last season DeShawn Williams was on the team. Ray-Ray McCloud had a cup of coffee with the Panthers a few years ago.
  19. Either of the Iowa State guys I'd be happy with, Noel or Higgins. Noel is projected as a slot guy, Higgins on the outside. Depends on what he team values more.
  20. Did someone take a pay cut or get restructured? Somehow we went from $13M before Moore and Scott signing to both of them now are on the books and somehow we are at $17M. Huh? BTW, they got paid the same money, just under $1.2M each.
  21. Strictly the Raiders blocking TE, to take the wear and tear off of their top two studs.
  22. Wanted Ian here? Not exactly, but some thought he was a steal at the top of the 4th round. See if this sounds familiar? Tall, athletic, big build, but a raw prospect that needs to be coached up reach the potential he didn't achieve in college. He was meant to be a Panther...it was written in the stars. So much so, they couldn't part ways with him until it was absolutely certain he couldn't be anything more than a TE3.
