  1. That's not Covid, that's Monkeypox.
  2. This guy was probably the lead dude with a pitchfork and torch when the mob came after Jerry Richardson though. You know, a few NDA's and promoted 'jeans Friday'. Hell, half this board couldn't run him out of BOA fast enough.
  3. Sometimes there's just not enough proof especially when it's only two people involved in an incident. Well, at lest Watson's fun spree is over with unwilling ladies. He can probably only get rub and tugs at the same ones truckers use now...you know, where happy endings are actually an above board thing.
  4. I doubt it was this particular lady's case. You know they cherry picked only a few cases to look into, correct?
  5. They looked into four accusers, not all 26. How and why did they pick those four? Who knows? I'd be wiling to bet it wasn't the more serious accuser's cases. Were some of them gold diggers? Probably, but I doubt all of them were and the couple of stories that did leak out was sexual assault, no doubt. Witnesses? How many people are in a room when a message session is happening? Of course it's a he said, she said thing. Remember, this was during Covid so these were set up a locations other than message businesses. Discrete locations were agreed upon and thus why video footage as lacking. Why 66 different women? Why not a dude? I mean, if he's just getting a sports message a dude could do it, correct? Male trainers work on athletes all the time. We all know why.
  6. I get weary of CB highlight videos that are lean on coverage footage. I saw six picks in total. Four were horrible passes that literally looked like Dawson was the intended target and two tip-drill INTs. The one thing I did like is he's not a scared tackler like so many corners *cough* D-Jax *cough*. He caused a couple strip fumbles too. Just off this highlight film alone, his game more favors a safety than a corner.
  7. They realistically can be 3-3 when Watson returns. The Browns are @ssholes for that contract which reset the QB market for a serial sex predator, but apparently they knew the suspension wouldn't be a year or more than half the season.
  8. Bingo! Rules for thee, but not for me. So as long as his accusers got paid, the penalty was less severe. If only Watson could have upped the sum enough to make this go away sooner, hell, he could have been starting week 1.
  9. Yep, the NFL wants to set a hard line on gambling. It will not be tolerated. Rape? Well, we (the NFL) will sit you in time out for a few games and then let you get back at it champ.
  10. That was between him and the Texans last year. Should have been suspended a year, anything less than double digit games suspended is a mockery. He gets six games, thus mockery.
  11. I sold my tickets because the product on the field has sucked for a while. I'd rather spend my money on home grilled burgers and reasonably priced beer. Then I could watch the game on my comfy cough and not have to wait in a line to take a piss. After the foregone conclusion of a predictable loss, I could then spend the rest of my Sunday doing whatever I please instead of a miserable 2.5 hour drive home in traffic.
  12. Freeze the video at 4 seconds. The ball is out of Baker's hand and the WR is making his break. He undoubtedly saw the safety and breaks off the route. Had he continued the route, it was a very catchable ball. However, a major decleater of a hit was awaiting him. Again, the WR made a business decision. I'm sure he didn't think his QB would get injured on the play, BUT that's why you can't play this game timid.
  13. WR made a career choice. It very well could have been a hospital ball. Dude, without a doubt, checked up. Instead of going after the ball and taking the contact, he decided otherwise and his QB got hurt. At least Baker tried to make the tackle.
  14. I doubt we are good enough to be lower than mid-round in the first. ON PAPER, this 2023 QB class is loaded. As they say, that's why they play the games. If this class lives up to it's billing, we may not have to move up to get a quality guy. Deep QB classes have guys "fall" to the mid-round. Mac Jones is the latest example.
  15. Unless Corral looks like a can't miss prospect, I am for drafting a QB in next years draft to keep all options open. I'm tired of getting pigeon-holed into a last gasp solution at QB. Darnold is gone after this season, I have no doubts. If Baker flops or wants a long-term, big money deal after anything less than a MVP-esque season...let him walk too. Remember, Corral is the only QB inked beyond this season for the Panthers. In that scenario at least we would have another open competition and not be stuck with an unproven Corral as our only option.
  16. Who's going commando? Oops, I meant, who's going to the game versus the Cammandos?
  17. Heck, I remember hanging out at Eastland mall as a kid. I practically grew up in that mall arcade in my pre-teen/early teen years. When Eastland went down hill, it went down hill FAST.
  18. At most Baker may hit the completion percentage ($300k) and points scored NFC/NFL ($300k)...as long as CMC stays healthy all year. It didn't say Baker had to be responsible for all the points. So he gets $0.6M of the $3.5 million back.
  19. I like the black ones, but the mock-ups of the blue ones I liked better.
