  1. For all the shade thrown at the Panthers for cutting Renfrow, if he has to 'talk over' if he wants to play in the NFL or not, then it should tell you that either the man's heart or health is not up to the task. Either way, it looks like cutting him initially was the right move. it gives him time to figure out if he feels like playing in the most exclusive sports League in the world.
  2. If they are willing to do the 4th with a performance clause to bump to a 3rd, problem solved.
  3. What, Thielen wants to go back to an organization that's not run like a circus? Nah.....
  4. It is stupid trading AT, but I'm kinda curious to see how Bryce performs without his crutch.
  5. Are we planning on keeping 4 RBs? We may only keep 9 O-linemen then with 3 TEs.
  6. It seems that Baker Mayfield is a king maker lately. Dude's are getting lucrative jobs off his performance. Didn't we cut some QB named Baker Mayfield a few years ago?
  7. ...nor should they. Cuts form other teams have more name recognition than theses guys do. Not only will these guys not make our PS, probably nobody else's either.
  8. Wanted to draft him on day 3 in April, but instead we took a DT and TE.
  9. I mean, he just learned under Reid and Mahomes. He's actually started games in the League too. I think he kind of got a raw deal in New England and I'm certain he's only grown from that.
  10. Hendon Hooker and Bailey Zappe were both cut. I haven't seen McCord's name yet. If looking for a younger veteran, DTR also got let go.
  11. Whew, hard decisions made today. Morgan and Canales must be exhausted.
  12. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-roster-cuts-tracking-player-releases-ahead-of-the-2025-roster-deadline Just open this link and periodically refresh it. You're welcome.
  13. That is what I meant about our front office. They are like someone filling out a March Madness bracket based on preference of uniform colors and mascots. There's no rhyme of reason to some of these fugg'n mind numbing decisions they make. They go all in on these flimsy-@ss prospects and are gun shy when it comes to more solid prospects. It's literally maddening and the reason I stopped being so emotionally involved in this team. Heck the only reason I'm active on the board today is one, it's my day off and two, it's cut down time.
  14. Long term, why not? For a short term bandage, of course not. We all know Dalton is collecting retirement money from the Panthers. If he has to be put in a game, I'm sure he'll play hard for us, but he's not going to be staple of this team for the foreseeable future.
  15. And yet the Eagles go out and actually try to improve it. Winner's mentality compared to a losers mentality. Winners, while already good, try to get even better even at mundane things like backup QB. Losers have the mentality of 'this is the all we got, so just make the best of it." I could care less about Dalton one way or the other, my ire is squarely pointed at our inept front office.
  16. If we had a really good backup, Bryce would be looking over his shoulder. Facts. Dalton knows his role as a backup/mentor and isn't gunning for QB1. A ambitious, young, talented backup would create a QB competition and that's something this team doesn't want for some crazy reason.
  17. If we did sign him, definitely TE3 starting out. He missed almost his entire senior season due to injury. I think it was an ACL and that impacted his camp last year with the Jets. Assuming no set backs with injury, he should be fully recovered. Now he just needs opportunity. The Jets are deep at TE, so getting waived is not a huge knock for me.
  18. If he comes here he'll have to change his name to Forrest Inferno.
  19. I saw the Jets cut TE Zach Kuntz. I wanted to draft this guy. A developmental player, but he could be a gem.
  20. Any today will be injury related or released with some designation other than released/waived, I suspect. I agree, < 90% will be tomorrow, and most--if not all--in the afternoon.
  21. If Thielen is traded, I'm knocking my vote back to a 4. He's going to be difference maker in 2-3 games this season. Without him, a couple of close games are going to the other team.
  22. We are one of like 6 teams with no released players yet (at least to the public). It seems like the past year or so instead of doing phased cuts, which we have traditionally done, the names are held back until the list is almost/completely finalized.
  23. Are we doing the entire cut list at once thingy again so nobody's feelings are hurt to be the first name released?
