  1. Nope. Kid makes bad decisions all the time. He has one of these types of games once in a blue moon. Rattler has a solid arm and can sling it around the field, but that's about the beginning and the end of his traits that would translate to the NFL.
  2. If Richardson goes back to school, there may not be a QB drafted in the second round.
  3. That sucks. He was my 2nd round target if we somehow missed out on Stroud or Young.
  4. As bad as we need a QB, we need a impact TE just as bad. It's going to hurt when he goes to another team. Our only option is a trade back. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea at all.
  5. Eh, I had this marked down at the beginning of the season as a loss anyway. As poor of a team as we are, keeping as close as we did, for as long as we did was surprising.
  6. I doubt it. Even if Fitts had a hand in those decisions outside of the execution portion of the trades, with Rhule gone now, he wouldn't double down on stupid.
  7. True but troting Baker out there knowing he's garbage could cost a later round draft pick. We know what Baker is, and that's not a QB1. Experiment over. Darnold and/or Walker the rest of the season.
  8. Baker and McAdoo both can pound sand. Frauds at their respective 'expertise'.
  9. If we come out of this draft with anything less than a QB, TE and WR by the end of round 4, I will be HIGHLY pissed off.
  10. FIFY. Good play, bad play, good play, bad play, etc...
  11. So drafting a TE early on isn't such a crazy idea, huh?
  12. If Darnold comes in and doesn't completely suck, I think we know who will be offered the backup QB job next season. Mayfield is horrible.
  13. Baker always is looking for the homerun ball. He doesn't feel pressure either. Put those two together and you have a piss poor QB.
  14. Mayfield should have been benched at halftime. At least Darnold knows where the check downs are.
  15. And if y'all think 88 and 12 are the answers, that's some good crack being smoked!
  16. If we try one more freaking stretch play after all the rest have failed, McAdoo needs to be fired on the spot. The Ravens D is too damn fast.
  17. Value. If by some weird stroke of luck we win a few more games and end up in no-mans land at the back end of the top 10, you just don't draft a QB because you need one. Attempt to move back, then draft a QB, draft another position and have enough ammunition to move back into the end of round 1 if the guys is still there you like.
  18. I've been taking Harrison and Kincaid in simulations as well, although I am not taking a chance of Kincaid not being there in the 3rd, so I take him pick 2b. I think we re-sign Foreman. There is mutual interest. So I have been taking smaller backs in the 4th; Brown, McBride or Corum. Taking a MLB at the top of the 4th and the RB at 4b. Drafting a WR in the 3rd.
  19. Bust Rate Pro Bowl -This is why I want to trade down and take Mayer. Only a 1 in 5 chance of a bust and almost a 1 in 2 chance of being a Pro Bowler.
  20. I like it! Outside of a K and CB, I've been choosing some of the same positions, around the same rounds too. I continue to trade back as we need more selections this draft...minimum of 9. Also, I don't think we have a 7th rounder. That was a conditional pick and the conditions were not met to my knowledge.
  21. I've been running simulations, but honestly I don't like where we are picking right now in the first round. At #3, I almost have to take Young/Stroud because one of the two (sometimes both) are available. If we win a few more games, I will start posting my simulations. I have a plan, but picking so high right now is messing it up. Worst case scenario and we still are top 5 pick by the end of the season, I'll either trade back or take one of top 3 QBs.
  22. How strong? Like Baylor/Temple strong?
  23. The '72 Dolphins pop another bottle of champagne.
  24. Can you Phil me in? My plan and has been for a while--trade back for Mayer, THEN get the QB. Another trade back in the mid-rounds should get us around 10 picks. We need every last one of them.
  25. A big arm is lures people in all the time. I admit, I almost got suckered in as well. I don't care if you can throw a football through a brick wall, if you can't read a defense, make poor decisions and fail to throw with anticipation into windows...all the arm strength in the world doesn't matter.
