  1. Remember who own the Broncos now. Tepper could get outbid. The old Broncos owners could not have got into a bidding war with Tepper, the Waltons, however...they have money to burn.
  2. He'd better bring a heck of an OC into the fold. I'm so over the run, run, pass, punt mentality of our past HCs.
  3. Players only have 3 more days to declare for the draft...I think the 6th is the deadline. DraftTeks top 50 still have 10 guys that have yet to declare, most are either on Georgia's roster or teams that just played this past weekend. They have to decide quickly. Georgia's slate is fairly large overall, but TCU has several guys that should get drafted too. They have to decide before the Natty.
  4. I'm done with HCs with defensive mindsets. Yes, I realize he's an ex-QB, but he coaches like he played LB. Run the ball, clock control and keep the game low scoring. I done with that poo.

  6. Fitterer didn't give us the Bengals and Steelers debacles along with the inability to cover go routes during the Bucs game. Some good, some bad...but the bad outweighed the good.
  7. His fanboys making excuses for the Bears organization. Granted, in regards they aren't wrong about the organization, but on the Fields fanboy level, they aren't right either. They will plop him into scenario 'X' and say he'd kill it there. Projection at it's absolute most implosive level. "well if he were on the Chiefs or 49ers"...well, if I only had the winning Powerball numbers before I picked my slate. There's a reason sh!tty team pick at the top of the draft......
  8. I pulled that straight from PFF. Where's your proof?
  9. Same to you, buddy. Like the Ricky Williams trade? Look it up if you have no clue. And your attempt at a slam is not only stupid on a juvenile level, but blasphemous. Your example is a fanboy dream that holds no merit in reality.
  10. I'm not sold on him either. Sometimes intangibles matter as much or sometimes more than the measureables. Either he lacks the drive, not 100% committed, or just doesn't get it. I'm not sure, but something is certainly off with him. The very reason I'm wanting a WR with either our first rounder or one of our seconds. I'm not willing to bet the light bulb suddenly lights up with TMJ.
  11. Because it has been shown a 'game manager' QB is sufficient with the right coaching staff and essentially "complete" roster. This is not what I want forever, but at least for next year. Fix the rest of the roster, allow the rookie staff to get their feet wet and let them get a rookie QB in the '24 draft. If you still don't get what I'm saying, I'll throw out an analogy in a subsequent post.
  12. Yes, they do...just not high fist round. There generally is a TE drafted in the first round just about every year, if not top of the second. If we can find a trade back partner and still get Mayer, that's a win-win in my book.
  13. Tell that to 99% of the Huddle. We are in the VAST minority on that sentiment my friend. I started beating the replace Greg Olsen drum when he re-broke his foot. Like Jordan Gross, it will probably take this thick-skulled organization another few years to realize the void that's staring them straight in the face.
  14. I may be surprised or he may be the as raw as advertised. Josh Allen went to a small school and was further along. I wouldn't lump the two together. Again, if some QB falls to #8/#9 not named Richardson and we draft him, I'll be begrudgingly okay with it. If we reach for Richardson there, then I will be freaking livid. I hope Fitts is smarter than that.
  15. Levis yes, anyone that's wanting a starting QB out of this draft class knows Richardson absolutely WILL NOT be ready. He has to sit a year. You are not using a top 10 pick on that.
  16. Not gonna lie, I skimmed it. However, while Fitts has made some missteps, it can nearly be all fixed in just one offseason. We have FIVE picks in the top 103 selections. Firstly, he should not piss any of those away on a trade up. I don't care how hard the fan base stomps their feet and whines for a QB. We HAVE TO come away with a TE, WR, MLB and DE (not necessarily in the order) with the first 4 of them. If we want to take a shot at a QB, rounds 3 or 4 will be the area. Otherwise, we need to draft a RB, OLB and DB. A DT or IOL would be nice, but we just don't have enough picks unless we trade back. At this point, Burns has to be extended since he wasn't traded. Brown and Luvu should be too. Wilson, Elflein and Haynes need to be cap casualties. That will create just enough cap room for roughly 2 mid-tier starting guys and a few back-up/STs types. I like Bozeman, but he's gonna have to take a hometown deal to stay, or extremely back loaded one at very least. Lastly. I think Tepper will get Fitts input on the HC search. While Tepper will make the final call, Fitts will likely help mold the list of candidates. This may be the most crucial decision(s) he makes all offseason. That's not hyperbole. If Scott knocks all of of these moves out of the ballpark, this team will be in the playoffs next winter...I have no doubt.
