  1. Not really, 37, 42 and 42 point given up three of the last four games. We've yet to hold a team under 20 points even when we were healthier on that side of the ball. Remember, the reason the team decided the time was right to get a rookie QB is because the OL *was* better and the defensive side of the ball was pretty well set. So about that.....
  2. I haven't missed it, but you can't knock the brightest defensive mind in the League, apparently. And to think we were all worried about Evero getting poached in the offseason. He's got to rebuild his reputation after taking on this dumpster fire.
  3. Lol, did Frank bang one of the female members in your family? You didn't hate Rhule this much.
  4. Frank or Brown calling plays it doesn't matter as beat up as we are and talent depleted. We've got at most 3 wins in this group. Brown should be thankful he gets the reigns in the most winnable stretch of the season though. If we don't notch a win or two out of the next three games, then 0-17 is a real possibility. The Vikings was our best shot for a win up until now and that obviously didn't happen.
  5. I gave up my PSLs before last season when it was announced that Rhule was coming back. Also, Tepper has run this thing into the ground. I got excited by the coaching staff only to be let down by the trade to #1. I knew right then and there this was going to be a long, long season. It's actually worse than I imagined.
  6. This is EXACTLY why Rhule didn't want a rookie QB. The problem is he couldn't build a team with a veteran QB either, but at least cobbled together some wins.
  7. LOl, at the irrationality of the Huddle. When we are STILL a dumpster fire once Brown takes over, where will the fingers be pointed then? Josh McCown, the waterboy, the turf field???
  8. Just because they sniped a day 3 QB project a few drafts prior.
  9. Hated both the TMJ and Mingo picks. What do I know though?
  10. I might have to abstain from the Huddle during/after that game. The meltdown on this board will be epic when Stroud lights us up.
  11. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. New staff, depleted roster and a rookie QB. What the fug did people expect?
  12. If Tepper really wanted a win, he'd tell Frank to start Dalton. It's not about wins right now rather than developing Young and to prove to everyone that Bryce was the correct choice HE made.
  13. You love firing people. Can you start with Tepper? Frank isn't going anywhere and Prime is staying at Colorado.
  14. Also remember guys, Frank said from the jump that he would "initially" be calling the plays and would hand it over to Brown at "some point." There wasn't a specific date when the baton would be handed off, but obviously going into the bye week would make the most sense giving the offense 2 weeks to get used to the adjustments.
  15. Remember what sold Tepper was the list of coaches Frank said he would bring in. Frank didn't get all the guys he wanted and had some plan B's and C's, but yeah, he had his staff pretty much assembled on paper.
  16. I would have passed on QBs all together this draft because I saw this train wreck coming. Admittedly, it's even worse than I envisioned. Impatient owner, brand new staff, no weapons and then you top it off with a rookie QB? That's a turd topping on a hot trash sundae right there.
  17. All? No, just the most important roles. Some lower level staffers were allowed to be picked by the guys the would be reporting to. STs and OL coaches were holdovers at he request of the front office.
  18. The only thing that's going to make a difference is getting the defense healthy, OGs healthy and hope we can run the ball while keeping opponents under 21 points. Thomas Brown ain't putting 40+ points on anyone and that's where our defense is at right now.
  19. Count the white jerseys at 5 seconds. That's right, nobody deep. Why? The word is out and why you can count all 7 non-DL in that frame. I think it's single high and he's not deep at all.
  20. Both highlights are a heaves straight down the field. Problem being that we don't have elite WRs with elite speed and he has super clean pockets with ample time in those clips. It's almost like a 7-on-7 drill in those examples. Even the weakest arm QB in NFL (if there was such a metric) can toss it 50 yards in the air under optimal circumstances. Can he do it from a muddy pocket, unable to climb the pocket and in a tight window? He hasn't shown that ability yet in the NFL.
  21. Context. I know he can't...not at this level. I was saying that it's a good thing he didn't go to a vertical, deep shot team. He would definitely flame out in that type of offense.
  22. Ah, the days of knowing every bad season would be turned around the next. Tepper is short selling the Panthers.
