Everyone likes Bryce, the question is if he's a good NFL. I still say no. -

Because normally it's not set up like 4th and short. The last thing a defense is thinking is a shot play, especially when they have been struggling to stop the run. -

PA passes are there when the run game is clicking. -

Proof that you don't have to find a baller WR in the first round. The Rams find those mid-round gems. -

That is what Bryce Young looks like in OBVIOUS passing situations. -

The Rams have spotted us 14 points... a pick-six and an endzone INT off a tipped pass. -

He made a NFL throw. It happens every once in a while. Granted it was man coverage and Coker had his man beat. -
Tell Me How Carolina Wins Against the Rams
45catfan replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Luck, that's how we win, and I think we used a lot of it up in the first half. I don't see Stafford throwing two more picks, one being a pick-six. -

The commentators nailed when they said Bryce Young has learned to be a better game manager. He really hasn't improved his skills in the passing attack...at all, but he's been better at managing games with a solid rushing attack. So yeah, play action is going to pop when the defense is looking to stop the run. -

Air yards have been minimal. It's nearly all been YAC. -

We haven't stopped the Rams, the Rams have stopped themselves. No doubt those two INTs would have ended in TDs had they been dropped. -

The defense is banged up. The offense has no excuse unless the backup RG plays like arse. but yeah, let's pin it on the RG. -
Cowherd sucks, but he's not wrong on his Bryce Young take.

I’m not sure people understand how fuging bad it is
45catfan replied to TylerDurden's topic in Carolina Panthers
His horrible footwork and throwing mechanics is a direct function or his lack of arm strength and height. He has to bounce on his toes to see over the O-line and he has to wind up to get any resemblance of zip on a deeper ball. Thus why Canales is always trying to roll him out of the pocket. It's not that he's some magician out of the framework, it's literally the only way he can play in the NFL. In short (ha-ha) his lack of an overall NFL physique doesn't just impede his play, it's because of his slightness that creates bad technique and affects his overall underwhelming play. -
This QB class is going to be full of the senior guys that disappointed like Nussmier, Klubnik, Allar. Beck didn't disappoint, but I think he's propped up by a stacked Miami roster just like he was propped up in Georgia. Then you have the lesser known/lesser hyped guys like Sorsby, Robertson, Aguilar, Pavia, Chambliss, Green and Daniels. This a good drat to find a developmental backup, but not a starter.

Mendoza will go top 5 overall and likely QB1. We have zero shot at him. Most of the top tier underclassmen are leaning going back to school. Nothing official yet as the season is still obviously ongoing, but from insider reports i seen suggests it shakes out this way.

Forget trying to draft a QB in the early first round--it's stupid
45catfan replied to MHS831's topic in 2015 NFL Draft
Yup, Delhomme wasn't the most naturally gifted QB, but he had spunk and determination. Let something go wrong on offense and that Cajun fire came roaring out of him. -
What's the best Thanksgiving side dish?
45catfan replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Panthers are like cherry pie. A typical, no-frills dessert and it does look appealing at first. However, after a few tastes, you realize how boring, unoriginal and lame this dessert really is. After years of knowing how you really feel about this pie, you just can't stomach it anymore and wonder how you keep getting suckered into by the new decorative topping and brighter cherry filling. It's the same uninspiring product as the last time you consumed it. Sound familiar? -
