A) I'm glad Burns, as a contract distraction, and his cap burden are gone. B) I'm pissed at the compensation. I went from elated to pissed and now I'm numb to the whole thing. I guess two first rounders is the MAXIMUM compensation for a franchise tag, not the law of the tag.

We cut him or force a pay cut. Those are the options. Making the money is and sitting on the bench is not an option.

The FA market for center is actually fairly deep. It's a matter if we can afford any of them. You typically don't get starting rookie centers unless they are day 1 or day 2 picks. I wouldn't mind drafting one on day 3 and developing him.

I'm sure he would have rather made millions of dollars and actually have been successful too. Nobody likes being a failure, no matter your status in life.
