Not one of those "push ups" would have counted in a PT test in the military, well maybe in today's military. Elbows never got to 90 degrees, head was down and butt in the air. Picture perfect example of how not to do a push up.

FWIW, the scout that thought bringing Elflien here was a good idea after looking at his horrible game film needs to be canned, pronto. Heck, most of us saw multiple clips of him getting trucked over with his previous teams and thought he looked absolutely horrible! How in the world did a scout likely see those very same film clips and say: 'yeah, this guy would be a solid addition to our OL'?

Ron Rhule will stick with the veterans over giving the rookies some playing time.
-
I won't be. The moment he shanks one, he's out. He's on the roster for at least 3 weeks, so if it happens this week or next, the staff will be looking for his replacement-in-waiting.
-
If the OL is not addressed this offseason as seemingly every other area on the team has been addressed, this coaching staff has real issues.

Sam is going to be sore Monday morning...or on IR.
-
True, but he was (and still is) playing at a high level. All people saw was a 35-year old LT. The Rams don't care that his beard is completely gray now, and neither does Stafford (old man reference). I knew we needed a LT even if he was just plug for a couple of years; I didn't care about his age. Fast forward 4 years and he's still doing solid work.
-
I remember when Andrew Whitworth was a FA and like 4-years ago and people said he was too old to come here (not me). He still looks solid...

If this keeps up, Darnold is going to have to do his best impersonation of this. RUN!!!!
-
Last huh? On the bright side at least they can't do any worse....
-
Probably the same play when the commentators thought he may had a concussion.
-
Corresponding move to Elder returning is the team let Omar Bayless go. I thought having 5 WRs on the practice squad was unsustainable.
-
Confirmed he's on IR.
-
I never thought I'd say this, but can we get back to to 3 yards and a cloud of dust days?
-
He's like the Brenstin Bersin of the defense. We keep cutting him and yet he still finds he way back.
-
A blast, actually.
-
Context here, but no, it shows the winning offense put up a goose egg and likely there is a problem with the said offense. However, if you cover the spread, there's nothing problem apparently while getting shut out. All is well though, spread covered.
-
Woah now, we can't have facts interfere with this all this back-patting against a bad team. What's with you crushing the moral around here, man?
-
So you can judge a team's performance based off if they covered the spread or not? So if a team won 7-3 on defensive TD, based off 3.5 point spread, everything is just peachy. Got it.
-
Very true, but I was obviously joking too.
-
Yup, and he used it to it's fullest potential. That's how it is done.
-
If the offense runs hot and cold like it did yesterday, we are going to have to lean on our defense as we always have. Some things never change...
-
This is how we solve the problem, run 2 TE sets....max protect, bench Darnold and run CMC out of the wildcat every play. No?
-
Odd, bullet points are missing from the offensive output in the second half...other that the one about hanging on to win by 5.
-
Okay, clearly you are just happy with the win, warts and all. If this team performs like that all year, we may win 5 games. When I say team, that includes the coaching staff, not just the players.
