8-9 wins isn't going to do it. Remember 8 wins is a LOSING record this season. 9 wins may get a wildcard in the AFC, but not the NFC. If you are banking on wins versus the Bucs and Bills, that's pretty bold. It will require 10 wins to get a wildcard in the NFC. Getting 6 wins with our remaining schedule is going to be very tough.
