  1. When Rhule praises you and you are a backup...best hit up Indeed pronto. Remember, Cannon was the best gunner in the NFL according to Rhule.
  2. LB and swing OT (backup) is really the only true holes we have left. It would be stupid to ignore it. I'm old school and still would like to see a true FB on the roster, but I think I'm probably going to have to let that go. Come Fitts, throw me bone here and at least put one on the PS!
  3. Yep. me as well. I also recall having folks say taking a day 3 QB (I think I was targeting him in the 5th for us) was akin to throwing a draft pick in the toilet. Of course some would say that about drafting a long snapper too... The kid has a big arm from what I recall, he just went to a no name school with mixed results. You can tweak a QBs game with good coaching, but you can't teach a big arm.
  4. Saw that one coming. I figured Brown would take his spot, but he ended up o the practice squad.
  5. I'd be interested in some of these guys who are young and were productive in college, not necessarily to the 53, but as developmental guys on the PS: QB -James Morgan TE/FB: Ben Mason OLB- Jacoby Stevens ILB-Evan Weaver
  6. I think we are still looking out for an OT, probably a LB too. Hoskins/Chandler are very much on the bubble. I wouldn't be shocked if Ricci is bumped by a true FB. That's the reason they say initial 53-man roster.
  7. My bad, I should have put into context better. Not at equal value, but at SOME draft value. I realize we will not get a 3rd for Grier nor a 4th for Haynes, but a 6th for either would suffice.
  8. Haynes and Grier have draft value, Grier a 3rd and Haynes a 4th. I'm losing track, but I think we are down a 6th and 7th at the moment for 2022. Yes, yes a 2nd as well, but I put the pipe down years ago...
  9. ...and the very reason why people are freaking out about the O-line this year.
  10. After next week...week1. FYI, when you passed in front of me at training camp, you had put on some weight, I noticed, and didn't use enough gel for Spartanburg humidity...your hair has nearly flat! C'mon man, you can't let yourself go like this... My gut has been this big for years and I proudly show it off!!!
  11. I still think Clay Johnson should go to the PS, move Luvu to the middle and put Haynes on the outside to back up Reddick. I would still look for an upgrade to Stanford. While a good STer, he's not the best LB. At 30-years old and a career drifter in the League, he can't be in the team's long-term plans.
  12. Eh, you need to take your crystal ball in for a tune up or return it to Big Lots...it's obviously defective.
  13. Are we not high on the waiver list? If he somehow makes it to us past the first several teams, we need to pounce!
  14. Possibly as an OLB in 3-4 sets, but this move was to get more beef on the edge.
  15. I don't know why we just didn't move Haynes to LB in 3-4 sets when it was obvious he's too light to be a DE. Maybe if he sticks, that will be the plan.
  16. Or cut, I mean a 4th year player should look good against backups in preseason. Don't get me wrong, he showed flashes this preseson, but you also have to take that into account when evaluating him.
  17. Source: The #Bills are trading DE Darryl Johnson to the #Panthers. Wait, I thought he played fullback? Hold on, didn't he retire a long time ago?? How can he play games and be an announcer??? I'm so confused?????
  18. ...and bump. Once we get the OT and LB, I'll let y'all hold my crystal ball....for a small fee. K- DE- OT LB FB-
