  1. Oh, I thought that's why we were carrying nearly a dozen WRs? Throwing mud at the wall to see what would stick at PR.
  2. Oh yeah, and WRs too. We now have 10...yes TEN, WRs between the active roster an practice squad. Can some of these WR also play OT and LB?
  3. Some of these practice squad moves make zero sense. I mean the team is insistent on keeping guards in deep supply for some reason, but LB and OT we are an injury or two away form being in deep poo. I really don't get it.
  4. Yeah, spiked hair is so 90's, but at least mullets are back in style!
  5. Oh, and he's not a bad player either. As a converted safety, It probably will take time to learn LB. I'd venture to say he's better than Stanford, Johnston and even if he converts back to safety, Franklin or Chandler.
  6. Oh would that make the Tiger faithful happy. The biggest thing I hear about why Clemson fans aren't more into the Panthers is that we never sign Clemson players.
  7. Kicker Borregales got cut by Tampa, do we pick him up for the PS? It wouldn't hurt to have a backup kicker.
  8. You know what would improve my focus? Changing that ugly-arse avatar of yours!
  9. Ho no! A simulation says we suck before the first snap of the year has taken place!
  10. Completely off topic, but you can change your avatar now, unless you have grown to love it...lol!
  11. I was starting to feel really old that nobody was getting that "Airplane!" reference. Thanks @Raskle!
  12. No more than you, but apparently you think he sucks? I guess we will have to wait and see who is correct on this.
  13. "Talk to me about the Jets. What do you know?" They are capsule looking objects with wings, engines, wheels, pilots and passengers...but that's not important now. The Panthers have a home game versus New York this Sunday!
  14. Santoso made his kicks didn't he? At least he doesn't have the yips. Of course he's not going to be 100%, but one bad kick isn't going screw up his focus the rest of the game like the guy he replaced. Our OL is the same as last year, not worse, not better. Okung couldn't stay healty at LT and LG was iffy. Paradis, Miller and Moton are the exact same dudes as last year.
  15. We had that last year if not for Joey Slye. He straight up lost us 2 games. This team is better than last year's team.
  16. Eh, I'm mostly focusing on us, not he competition. If the OL can hold up, Darnold can hold his own (not asking for Pro Bowl-type season out of him) and the team stays healthy...we can make some waves in the NFC regardless of how the rest of conference shakes out.
  17. Me as well. I've said 9-10 wins earlier on. One of those games was a Joey Slye contingency, he was good for at least a loss. I'm solid at 10 wins now.
  18. It's so ridiculous that the team is fighting against this. They made some bone-head FA signings, but instead of chalking it up a loss, they are damning the torpedoes and going full steam ahead with this train wreck on the left side.
  19. My biggest concern is not rattling Wilson early and letting him get into a rhythm. Dude is a rookie starting his first game, the last thing we need is to let him get comfortable.
  20. Mostly true. I would say O-line in general. While LT is the glaring issue, LG and center are by no means solid. Miller at RG is good enough, but really the only fixture is Moton. I'm still baffled by the Elflein signing, at least the amount we gave him. His contract keeps him here for at least two years unless we take a huge cap hit. Linebacker is set unless we have an injury...it just lacks depth.
  21. I have to admit that I wasn't initially a fan of drafting TM88 and saw it as a slight to the Saints (rumored to be targeting him) more so than a real need/value. Pleasantly he seems to be the real deal. I'm still on the fence with the Tremble pick. To me he's going to have to be a real cog in the Panthers offense for him to be worth that pick, otherwise I feel we could have gone in another direction. Apparently he was one of Rhule's draft crushes. Outside of Shi Smith (I actually was wanting a slot WR on the last day since Curtis Samuel was on the out the door) the rest of the day 3 picks were...meh.
  22. I'd bet the Jets would gladly have their lone Super Bowl revoked if it meant getting monkey off their back.
  23. Nope, I'd rather have a competitive team on the regular than a one-hit wonder. You can only bask in the glory one moment in time for so long. That would like saying, the Panthers always suck, but at least we have '03 and '15!
  24. I still like the 2020 class better. Granted we got more picks than the previous draft, but I wasn't exactly thrilled with what they did with the late selections. It seemed like they almost traded back too much and were grasping at straws with the last few picks. I would have looked at center, tackle, linebacker and end. Quality over quantity is the best way to sum it up.
  25. Still shocked no LBs have been signed. I guess there's no rush since it's a PS spot. At this point, any FAs remaining out there are going to be available for a while. I'm wondering if they are intentionally holding those spots open for potential injury/Covid case(s)?
