  1. We are only a few more victories from your Howell bubble being busted, lol.
  2. I went to the play-by-play and if I counted Darnold's passes correctly he was 75% in the first half...with 2 of the incomplete passes being legit drops. One by DJ and one by Marshall. But please continue....
  3. Let me see, a 68.5% completion rate, 102 rating and ZERO picks, but you guys want to nitpick. Got it...
  4. The rest of his kicks were straight. All kickers miss kicks. I did like the fact he made his kicks after the botched PAT.
  5. That was his only bad miss not under duress that I can recall. Granted it was a biggie, but one missed pass all game where he didn't have guys all around him, I'll take it. Had it not been in the end zone, we wouldn't be talking about it.
  6. Who was that team a few years ago that cut their kicker before the season and ended up singing/cutting several more throughout the year? Yeah, I don't want to be them whoever it was.
  7. Hands on the ball should be a completed pass. Was is a little high? Yes. Was it able catchable? That's a yes as well.
  8. Sam did well. He had a few drops by receivers and the OC and OL did him no favors in the 2nd half where most of his incomplete passes occurred. I'd give him a solid grade of a 'B'.
  9. This is what happens when a team seldomly uses a FB, miscues when one actually enters the game. I say is was on both guys, honestly. Sam held ball out too early, but Ricci didn't have to be so close to Sam either when he obviously was not the intended ball carrier.
  10. Therein lies the problem. If Brady had no clue that the Jets were going to dial up the pressure on Darnold being down several scores in the second half, then something is VERY wrong. He should have anticipated it and has the foresight to adjust the game plan accordingly.
  11. Brady had to understand that in the NFL, versus college, the team lining up on the other side of the ball is nearly your equal EVERY WEEK, so if your game plan suddenly hits a wall adjustments have to be made. In college, especially against lesser teams, you can stubbornly stick to the game plan after some stalled drives and still end up being okay. In the NFL, you have to make those decisions on the fly. He FINALLY figured it out in the 4th quarter after it was almost too late.
  12. Yup, especially on third downs. You ain't fooling anyone by putting him in the backfield on obvious passing downs, so you might as well line him up wide and try to get a mismatch with a safety.
  13. Just the Jets LT. D-Jax's pride...um, hammy got hurt on a deep pass completion. He shook off the bad play, oh and the hammy seemed to be just fine too.
  14. Yeah, the Jets defense were going to sit back being down multiple scores. Again, who didn't see that sh1t coming? Oh, Joe Brady.
  15. It took Brady until the third series of the 2nd half to figure out their pressure was too much for down field shots. I get you don't abandon the game plan after one bad series, but crap, the Jets pinning their ears back was fairly predictable after halftime. This coming from a casual NFL fan, it's not like it was out of left field.
  16. I'll take the win, but Brady REALLY did not adjust well to the Jets dialing up the pressure in the 2nd half.
  17. Huddle: "you don't draft a DT with a top 10 pick!" Aged to perfection...
