  1. Hey, but the one extra TD, though! Come on man, see the bigger picture!
  2. By-gosh, we are about to go straight Teddy-ball. Now if Darnold can just slow-pitch underhanded so our backs and WRs can hold onto the ball 5-yards from the LOS, I think we got a winning game plan!
  3. I agree, but they get to define "catchable." I would say at least 2, if not 3, more.
  4. Jackson didn't play at Bay-ple, so that idea isn't going to work.
  5. Did he play well or did he catch a break? Why go around the edge when you can apply pressure straight up the gut? I say we move Erving to LG, Moton to LT and Christensen to RT. You can only continue to beat your head against the wall so many times before real damage is done. Stop the freaking insanity!
  6. Hmmm, I thought this was a historically bad take. I mean Hurney funded a lot of retirement plans for marginal/injury-riddled/washed up players.
  7. No wonder when Sam has to bail, he does so to the right side of the line. Yikes!
  8. Yes, but due to voided years on his contract, we still pay him after he's out the door. Ouch and DOUBLE ouch.
  9. Cut Sam Darnold!!!! Wait...wrong thread.
  10. Darnold's picks have not mainly been in the end zone unlike Teddy.
  11. -Will CMC still be out? -Will Joe Brady still be calling the plays? -Will we still have our same OL? We know the answer to all three of those questions so I little faith that we will beat the Giants.
  12. ^^^This. The sack fumble was on the OL who facilitated the jailbreak and the opening play INT was just as much on Anderson casually strolling around on a scramble drill as it was on Darnold for trying to force a play.
  13. Just in Panthers' history? Wow, I don't know if I have enough time in the day to type out that list.
  14. Yep, I'm still not giving up on Sam yet. Our WRs were complete arse yesterday. Hell, they made Ian Thomas look good! Blocking was horrible per normal and while Chuba is a decent reserve back he's not a RB1. Dude has nothing to work with here. Our strength was supposed to be our weapons around Darnold. CMC is out for a total of 6 weeks and our WR1 an WR2 couldn't get open nor could catch a cold at the north pole in the dead of winter going skinny dipping.
  15. That's what I'm talking about! I hope scouts still will view him as a 'tweener G/T. It may cause him to drop some so we can draft him.
  16. Until the Panthers can win consistently without CMC (either to injury or ineffectiveness) we are the 90's Detroit Lion's offense that was completely dependent on Barry Sanders. We look competent, at the very least, on offense when he's healthy and heavily involved. Without CMC we look like a D-III college team out there.
  17. Can someone check the NFL record for dropped passes in a game? We have to be getting close.
