  1. The man got paid what else do ya'll want? Contracts are about yesterday, not today. He's good with his money and apparently doesn't need any more. Stop acting like he's got to validate his deal with good play now.
  2. Vilma is straight up clowning Robbie Anderson. Darnold's pick was on Anderson too. On a scramble drill you don't JOG back to the QB, you hustle back. The DB was several yards back and had Robbie ran back to Darnold, the DB wouldn't have had time to jump the pass.
  3. Do you have access to PFF to see his blocking grades so far this season? Most college team sites don't give out the "highlights" in a player's bio until the season is over. I know it's PFF, but it's still some sort of metrics to see how he's playing this season.
  4. Maybe we can trade an entire secondary for a serviceable LT.
  5. In other breaking news, we have found this substance to be wet...
  6. Nice, now lets go add Dan Skipper as the other guard and I guarantee you our interior ain't getting pushed around (Paradis excluded).
  7. Nailed it.... Also pointed out this wasn't about clearing a roster spot Gilmore.
  8. Again, I'm unimpressed with this QB class. I'd rather stick with Danrold and invest in the OL. Could you imagine a rookie behind this O-Line?
  9. Not until AFTER this week (6 games). They didn't have to free up a roster spot this early for him.
  10. If not Smith, someone else's roster spot. They are looking to sign someone because they can see and hear the mob at the gates. The mob is getting rowdy...
  11. The larger point is we now have a roster spot and I doubt they just moved on from him for giggles. Me thinks there will be a signing in the next day or two. O-lineman possibly?
  12. He's not on the coaching staff, so he doesn't have to sugarcoat his analysis. "it was as team faliure" blah, blah,blah...
  13. Maybe an imminent signing? Rodney Smith was released from the practice squad, so we have a spot available.
  14. Yep, while good, we aren't the '84 Bears. If the offense isn't putting points on the board, it makes the defenses job that more difficult.
  15. Ah yes, coach speak to deflect blame from one obviously guilty unit and add a little criticism to another group to trot out the tired old tripe of a "team loss." Classic!
  16. Except leads can and do evaporate, especially when the our offense can't match the scores of the opponent. I'm not expecting our defense to shut out teams in the second half, but I'm also not expecting our offense to lay an egg either.
  17. If we must continue with this dumpster fire, move Moton back to RT, keep Erving at LT, insert BC at LG and try Scott at RG. We are stuck with Paradis because Rhule wanted another Baylor guy on the team.
  18. Panthers staff: If you add more mayo and keep stirring, just maybe...
  19. The fastest path between two points is a straight line. Why would teams even test our tackles when they can just push our IOL into Darnolds' lap?
  20. This confirms what we all saw with our own two eyes yesterday, the IOL was atrocious! The tackles, while unspectacular, were at least able to hold their own.
  21. Almost all of these guys were in camps and have only been at home for a little over a month. Worried about conditioning? Let them sit at home another month or two when the team realizes what we all know, that our guard situation really sucks and then let the panic begin.
  22. So you are in the do nothing/sinking ship camp too? Cool. I will remember this when this camp of folks starts bitching in a few weeks once the season officially spirals out of control.
