  1. LOl! We don't have a 2nd or 3rd rounder! They organization went all-in this season trying to make Rhule look competent. Now we STILL suck and missing two crucial draft picks.
  2. Darnold has to feel some sort of vindication. NO QB could survive this train wreck.
  3. But, NFL re-treads are so much worse! I was in the Mike McCarthy camp. Dallas is looking pretty good.
  4. Yup, the rookie is schooling Jackson. Who wanted to re-sign Jackson to a big, new deal again? I for SURE wasn't one of them.
  5. While Darnold shat the bed, he was Brady's scapegoat for a several games. First it was injuries, then OL issues and then Darold going full meltdown mode. At some damn point finger has to be pointed at Brady. The offense is largely healthy, Cam is back and the OL has been playing better (by their standards) as of late. Again, the excuses for Brady are running out, FAST.
  6. The only two big positive plays for us have been the only two Dolphins bad miscues. Short of those, this would be a blowout and the 21-10 score does not depict how truly lop-sided this game really is.
  7. I can't tell if the coaching staff has gone into tank mode? If not, they sure are fooling me. If so, is Tepper aware of the tanking?
  8. Beside one blown coverage by the dolphins, this team has played like utter crap. Rhule has lost this team whether he's aware of it or not. Chances are he's clueless about that too.
  9. So does anyone question at this point the problem is the coaching?
  10. 9 dudes mugged up to the LOS and Cam didn't check out of that run call. WHAT THE FUG????
  11. DJ is soft. If there's going to be contact, he has the droppsies. On the deep pass, no deep defender to collapse on him. Miraculously, DJ caught it.
  12. This QB class is garbage. Roll with Cam, keep Darnold as the backup (doubt any takers in a trade) and keep Morgan as a project QB. Let PJ test FA. I doubt there will be any takers, so we could always sign him back if needed. See what the 2023 draft holds for QBs, because this ain't the year to waste a draft pick, one of the few we have remaining, on some scrub out of perceived desperation.
  13. A close game, but if we do lose, this coaching staff is toast. The front office has done everything possible to make this team a contender this year from a personnel standpoint. A loss today has to put this coaching staff on the hot seat.
  14. Named as an Outland Trophy finalist: ONE sack yielded in 755 pass blocking snaps. OL STUD!
  15. Yep, they are not mutually exclusive. Both can be bad at the same time. Our offense couldn't move the chains consistently and our defense couldn't get off the field particularly on 3rd and 4th downs as you mentioned.
  16. Our OL gave up 7 pressures according to this, just yielding 1 sack. That's not bad, not bad at all given our OL history.
  17. 1 sack. The OL did as well in pass-pro as could be expected.
  18. We can afford one, just 1 more loss. After that, as mentioned, we are on the losing end of most of the tie breaker scenarios based off head-to-head games. I can't see us sweeping TB or beating Buffalo. There's at least two losses in those 3 games.
  19. No, but I heard the fat lady was practicing her scales.
  20. Early yes, but I'm not sure the results are going to be drastically different down the road. At best Rhule will have us as a middling team in the NFC and even may see a playoff season or two. Perennial playoff participants and serious Super Bowl contenders? Nah, I don't see that happening under his watch.
  21. Before him was Bill Walsh and that move was in the 1970's. This was the very reason I was NOT in favor of Rhule. History was not on his side. This topic was debated heavily during the coaching search and while most of the Huddle was dead set on not getting another NFL 're-tread" those of us that was against a college coach pointed straight to this fact. Saban and Spurrier were flops in the NFL, but could do no wrong in college. Rhule turned sorry teams into respectable programs, but by no means juggernauts.
