  1. He's a day 3 prospect at this point, we've got plenty of those picks to burn on a project QB.
  2. Even so, doesn't mean the conversion actually happens. Did Rhule own up to the stupidity of going for it on your own 49-yard line so early in the game? No, probably not.
  3. No, that's the reason I didn't use direct quotation marks. However, calling out the QB for holding onto the ball to long as he's running for his life most of the day kinda implies that.
  4. Can we get to 99% this week? Rhule can only vote for himself once.
  5. Yep, the "give the man a fighting chance' and/or 'we don't want to be the Jets/Browns constantly changing head coaches' people will chime in. Honestly, it's probably less than 10% of the fan base at this point though.
  6. Nah, we should b able get LT #2 or #3 unless a team trades ahead of us. Some stud DEs in this draft and that will eat up a couple of picks ahead of us.
  7. I wonder if I put my tickets up for $1 each, if they would even sale?
  8. I don't disagree at all, but firing Rhule only two years into a seven-year deal has egg all Tepper's face. He's got a choice, give Rhule a year three and hope he improves or pulls a Jacksonville by chalking up the loss now, optics be damned.
  9. If Tepper is even thinking about pulling the trigger, he can start digging now. This season is over. No more roster moves of consequence to be made. Tepper can get Fitts to low-key do some research and begin to build a candidate list. Crazy enough, I think Tepper holds onto Rhule because he gave Matt such a large window to rebuild in. If it were just a 4 or 5 year deal, he could pull the trigger, but on a 7-year deal it makes him look impatient.
  10. Rhule: I made the right call, damn it...stupid players are making me look bad!
  11. Eh, it can wait a little over a week. It's not like we are going to beat the Bucs anyway. Since the game is at home, Tepper can have a locksmith on hand at halftime to re-key Rhule's office and then tape Matt's pink slip to the door.
  12. Rhule: 'the OL played well today, this loss is on the QB.'
  13. I'm not about firing someone just before Christmas. December 26th though? Rhule had better be preparing to update his resume'.
  14. If we have any of the top 3 LTs right in front of us and we trade back to try to correct mistakes from this year, I will literally throw my TV out the window into the back yard. That is BEYOND moronic!
  15. The Seahawks will win 1-2 more. That's one more slot to move up. Here's hoping the Bears and Giants get hot.
  16. There is a draft sub-forum, but since you asked--any of these 3: Neal, Ekwonu or Cross.
  17. Mitch is like, 'nah brah, you ain't screwing up by next starting gig.'
  18. How? Unless we beat the Saints, this team would have won exactly TWO games since week 4. Heck, even the freaking Lions have had better results!
  19. Cam's seeing ghosts now. This OL brings out the paranormal in our QBs.
  20. Abdullah was a nice pick up. I hope we keep him next year. I'm still not sold on Hubbard.
  21. Youth is not the problem, coaching is. Young players with crap coahes cannot be blamed.
  22. Was that another 3rd quarter where the opponents put points up and we were held scoreless? If that was a Vegas bet, it's about as easy money as there could be.
  23. Neal or Ekwonu or Cross. We will trade up for Pickett if Rhule is still here though.
