  1. We won't go 0-17, but we aren't making the playoffs either. So people are either going to be gleeful for our 5-ish wins and clamor for "more time" while the other camp will want to clean house. The clean house crowd will definitely have more leverage by the end of the season.
  2. Kinda of like when Hurney went on a GM search as a consultant and the best candidate he found was himself, lol!
  3. I'm sure glad we chose Wallace over Payton Wilson.
  4. Bingo. Harbaugh even reached out to Tepper and got turned down. McCarthy is who I wanted when ol' Dave hired the used car guy. All the Huddle kept saying was "no more retreads." The retreads on the list above actually have done better than the newbies we hired. Reich got shown the door so quickly, we will never know if he could have turned it around. Apparently he wasn't emotional enough--I mean an even keeled coach is the last thing this team needed.
  5. You apparently don't realize unused cap space rolls over to the next season. So yeah, this year's cap numbers affects next year's cap space. I could care less how much cash Moton got from Tepper, I care about how much cap he's taking up.
  6. Our biggest draft bust, no doubt. Not sure where he'd rank in NFL history.
  7. I got pooed for hating the trade up in the first place and then again when I thought Stroud should have been the pick.
  8. See the game yesterday? Dude is talented, but dude is VERY raw. Struggled against a small program. He either needs to stay in school or sit a year in the NFL.
  9. No doubt, but on THIS team does paying a top 6 RT make sense? That's my point. That money/cap space is needed for the future, not the present.
  10. Beware of the RSOs. They are too raw and not ready. Don't listen to garbage by talking heads that drafting a young QB is like getting free years and 25-year old QBs are "old." It's complete BS. Young QBs are raw and Grad/RSR QBs are seasoned. Nothing--absolutely NOTHING can substitute/simulate actual game reps. If any position on a football team requires as many reps as possible, it's QB.
  11. No, but his grandpa did. Arch basically said his grandpa doesn't speak for him. That said, short of a Natty, he probably does stay.
  12. Correct, 72 of his 154 yards came on the near ill-fated TD drive.
  13. I agree, that was an UGLY underhanded lob pick-6 by Bryce that fortunately got called back. Credit to Hubbard for the broken tackle on the TD, which was nothing more than a simple swing pass from Bryce.
  14. Just over 150 yards and barely 50% completion for the game with 3 turnovers. FRANCHISE!!!
  15. *Already scouting first round WRS*
  16. The defense was the least of our problems today. Jax only had 20 points midway through the 4th quarter. That's fairly typical in the NFL. If we had ANY offense to speak of, the defense wouldn't have looked nearly as bad. That said, Evero needs to go after this season, well, the whole coaching staff.
  17. Lol, we are on the hook for this monster contract for a RT and nowhere near contention. This is what you do for a plug and play elite RT on a SB contending team. We are dog poo and paying a RT a king's ransom.
  18. I can, about every move he's made with the Panthers with intent of improvement has backfired spectacularly. Successful hedge fund management must require a totally different mind set because he absolutely sucks at running a prosperous NFL organization.
  19. The Saint's want to draft Garrett Nussmeier, so leak this to the Panthers brass and we can tank harder than them to select their guy!
  20. Really considering watching Washington closely this year. That was my pre-Panthers team.
  21. Dude's made a living on it so far in career. If the NFL was only three periods like hockey Bryce would probably be the worst statistical QB in the League among starters. #4thquarterisfoolsgold
