  1. Yep, but remember Henderson was a steal because we only traded a 3rd rounder for him. Oh, but Rhule isn't the problem. Salvage projects from the Jags, Browns and Jets, but us fans are the ones that can't see the process working.
  2. Well, on the flip side, we can all laugh at Saints' fans who thought they could compete with Winston as their QB.
  3. Yep, if they Saints can stop beating themselves, 2 TDs and they have the lead.
  4. If they bench famous Jameis and put in Dalton, they could turn this around. Winston missed Kamara for the 1st down, potential TD on that last awful throw.
  5. All personnel moves are rubber stamped by Rhule himself. So yeah, it is kinda his fault.
  6. Bingo! I said that about Fields and got the 3rd degree for it.
  7. In a rebuild, you can't burn it all the way to the ground. I get who those 'core' players are, but then then you have to identify the next tier of guys, while not 'untouchable' will be the other essential cogs in the rebuilding process.
  8. Hey, but at least we keep the Saints form drafting him. Am I right??? I mean burning a second round pick to 'stick it' to a divisional foe is TOTALLY worth it.
  9. Rhlue has a 3% chance to make the playoffs if he loses today based off the history in the Super Bowl era. If that happens and we lose next week to go 0-4...well, only the 1992 Chargers have been able to dig out that hole to see the postseason. Rhule on 0-4 and making the playoffs: 'it's not impossible because it's been done before"
  10. Locks: Horn, Chinn, Ickey, BC, Corbett, Moore Near locks: Moton, Mays, D-Jax, Corral, Brandon Smith, Luvu, McCall, Barno Post season cap dumps now/immediate future: CMC, Shaq, Robbie and Burns (not keep nor re-sign) That's 7 core players on each side of the ball to build around. That's actually not too bad. Our OL will continue to get better. Unfortunately, the most important offensive position, QB, still will be a huge question mark and our DL will be very young and thin on experience.
  11. This is what I thought of the Chuba Hubbard pick:
  12. I was one of them. Either he grew into a better coach or he's a better game caller than positions coach. Lord knows Cam never broke any of his bad habits when Dorsey was his QB coach.
  13. This is the easy part of the schedule too. We are supposed to actually upset somebody later on when the schedule gets brutal? Bwwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
  14. I've been on a slow and steady boycott for a few years now. I finally didn't renew my PSLs this year. The game day experience has been getting worse year by year for a while now. I remember when going to Panthers games were actually, wait for it...........FUN!
  15. So the NFL is now the equivalent to horse shoes where close is good enough. Got it.
  16. I would disagree about the 1-15 season feeling the worst. We were 7-9 before and after that year, so no long term stench. Also we started out 1-0 that season as well. The games were close (sound familiar) up until the last quarter of the season when the players finally threw in the towel. This is different. This has been a downward spiral. A pattern of failure. Seifert got canned after the 2001 season and with a new HC incoming, there was optimism about that. With Rhule's 7-year contract even if he continues to lose, will Tepper actually eat that contract? Who knows? Richardson canned Capers after a couple of subpar seasons and canned Seifert after only one really bad year. I have no faith in Rhule's coaching ability or Tepper's ability to swallow his pride and do the right thing. Again, this is currently the worst and I go back all the way to 1995.
  17. FYI, only the the 1992 Chargers made the playoffs after going 0-4 in modern era. Certainly Rhule can lose two straight, right? Oh, and after he does, someone please share this with ballz Tepper. There will be no need to carry on to game five with that doofus.
  18. You might have some closet Saints fans this weekend.
  19. If this meeting is occurring, boy would I love to be a fly on the wall!
  20. Ickey gave up just one sack only in his second game. He gave up 2 to one of the best edge rushers in the entire League last week in his very first NFL game. Dude will be just fine.
  21. Never take a blocking TE early. IIRC, Tremble was a Rhule guy in that draft, meaning he was a guy Rhule targeted himself.
  22. Nixon and Snow for certain. He can have them though. The rest of the guys will want to keep their paychecks for the remainder of the season.
  23. Interim HC material? I just posted in another thread as long as a Rhule toady doesn't take the helm (and there's only a very few) I'm cool with canning Rhule right now.
