  1. Nobody wants Jordan, that's the difference. Gotta have trade value to make a deal work. You are correct though, Daley did look better than Jordan.
  2. There's a give and take for sure, but Fitterer is a legit NFL GM and could work successfully with other organizations. I can't say the same for Rhule.
  3. Rhule is a tool. I'm sure Matt said: 'this is the list of who we are cutting Scott, do you think we can get any trade compensation out of them?' I HIGHLY doubt Rhule was like: 'Hey man call the Titans and trade them Daley for a 5th.' Yes, Rhule gave Fitterer some ammunition to work with, but Scott is the one that makes the fireworks happen.
  4. I still don't get people pooing on Fitterer. He makes things happen, generally good things.
  5. I tried to tell people Daley was more valuable than Jordan...just to a different team.
  6. Getting back a mid-round pick for Baker. I could care less about the 7th rounder. I bet Fitts tries to deal someone else to either the get back a pick this draft or another one in 2024 for the Shenault trade.
  7. Like yard sale cheap. Something smells fishy and I already took out my garbage tonight.
  8. We are down a 6th as well. The Patriots have our 3rd and 6th.
  9. Fitterer to Jags: We really like Shenault, will you be willing to part with him? Jags to Fitterer: What's the compensation? Fitterer to Jags: A mid-round pick and Robby Anderson Jags to Fitterer: You can keep Robby, we will just take the draft pick.
  10. Eh, might as well get his pick out of the way too. Baker will hit his thresholds and cost us a 4th, give the Jags the 5th and be done with it. I'm sure we can get rid of our 7th too so the front office will have a really short draft next April with only a 1 and a 2. Hell, move up a bit giving up the 2nd and call it a day after the first round!
  11. Oh yeah, Baker a 5th or a 4th depending on playing time/permormance. I thought you meant Darnold. All his pick compensation hit us last draft. So 3rd, 4th/5th, 6th and Shenault.
  12. Not exactly, one CB (Gilmore, no longer on the team) a QB (Corral on IR) and this dude who the Jags wanted to ditch. Don't get me wrong, Shanault was a beast coming out of college. Everything in Jax goes to crap, but maybe this dude can be redeemed. We are missing our 3rd and 6th plus whatever this trade sets us back.
  13. At this rate we might not have any picks next year.
  14. Parking sucks now they keep building on what were a bunch of vacant lots around the stadium. Parking keeps getting pushed further and further out.
  15. There's the David Newton we all love to hate! I knew he could screw up. Damn, how does this man keep his job?
  16. But Mrs. Rhule had done her homework. Did you not read her scouting report on Hubbard?
  17. News has been slow of late, so I would imagine that not too much more will we revealed before tomorrow.
  18. Nah, a big arm but that's about it. Dude is statuesque in the pocket. Plenty of highlights of bombs down the field, but skimpy on window throws, boundary throws and timing routes. Not to mention his ability/inability to read defenses. Yes, having a big arm is key to being an NFL QB, but that can't be it.
  19. Well that didn't take long, lol!!!
  20. The first person I thought of when I read Strong had been released.
  21. I didn't like Jenkins as a prospect and simply thought he wouldn't cut it. Now they are trying to ditch him.
  22. Here's an interesting one: Any scoop as to why? He was productive in college.
