  1. You guys are still sleeping on McCall. Dude ain't the biggest, fastest or strongest arm, but all he does is ball out and win. Kid twisted his ankle last game early in the 3rd quarter last week and already had a full game worth of stats in. Even though his team was winning comfortably and the backup QB was holding his own, he STILL was pleading his case to the HC to come back in and finish the game on a bum ankle.
  2. After hanging on for the win, my list doesn't change. There are some building blocks here, but unfortunately we have a coach that's going to keep his Bear/Owls around when they have not business on this roster. A good head coach, with a solid QB could turn this thing around in a season or two. We have neither.
  3. Why does Rhule always look like he's smelling a fart?
  4. Better than Wintson: Kyler Murray, Jimmy G., Matthew Stafford, Burrow, Tom Brady (x2), Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson Then we have: Mariota (x2) Gino Smith, Trubisky, Jared Goff and Winston again
  5. That never was going to happen. As much sh!t as we give this team, it has too much talent for that. The true test is a winning record.
  6. Winston is a garbage QB. I'll make a list of who we have the rest of the season shortly. We only play Winston once more.
  7. 4-D chess. Saints knew a win today would give Rhule an extended stay. They're playing the long game. They will throttle us in New Orleans.
  8. This team sucks in the 2nd half if you haven't bee keeping up. The sun shines on a dog's arse every now and then, so yeah, if they expect to pull this thing off, they should have built a bigger cushion.
  9. Yep, but remember Henderson was a steal because we only traded a 3rd rounder for him. Oh, but Rhule isn't the problem. Salvage projects from the Jags, Browns and Jets, but us fans are the ones that can't see the process working.
  10. Well, on the flip side, we can all laugh at Saints' fans who thought they could compete with Winston as their QB.
  11. Yep, if they Saints can stop beating themselves, 2 TDs and they have the lead.
  12. If they bench famous Jameis and put in Dalton, they could turn this around. Winston missed Kamara for the 1st down, potential TD on that last awful throw.
  13. All personnel moves are rubber stamped by Rhule himself. So yeah, it is kinda his fault.
  14. Bingo! I said that about Fields and got the 3rd degree for it.
  15. In a rebuild, you can't burn it all the way to the ground. I get who those 'core' players are, but then then you have to identify the next tier of guys, while not 'untouchable' will be the other essential cogs in the rebuilding process.
  16. Hey, but at least we keep the Saints form drafting him. Am I right??? I mean burning a second round pick to 'stick it' to a divisional foe is TOTALLY worth it.
  17. Rhlue has a 3% chance to make the playoffs if he loses today based off the history in the Super Bowl era. If that happens and we lose next week to go 0-4...well, only the 1992 Chargers have been able to dig out that hole to see the postseason. Rhule on 0-4 and making the playoffs: 'it's not impossible because it's been done before"
  18. Locks: Horn, Chinn, Ickey, BC, Corbett, Moore Near locks: Moton, Mays, D-Jax, Corral, Brandon Smith, Luvu, McCall, Barno Post season cap dumps now/immediate future: CMC, Shaq, Robbie and Burns (not keep nor re-sign) That's 7 core players on each side of the ball to build around. That's actually not too bad. Our OL will continue to get better. Unfortunately, the most important offensive position, QB, still will be a huge question mark and our DL will be very young and thin on experience.
  19. This is what I thought of the Chuba Hubbard pick:
  20. I was one of them. Either he grew into a better coach or he's a better game caller than positions coach. Lord knows Cam never broke any of his bad habits when Dorsey was his QB coach.
