Fine? As in #42 and #51 in yards kind of fine? Setting the bar a little low. Our OL is top half of the League and that's the problem? We don't have a TE cracking the top 32 in yards...you know, better than at least one other team's #2 guy.

Circa 2021 OL? Dude, this is the best OL we've had in yeeaaarrrs. Not exactly sure about needing to beef it up more. Our TE room is down right atrocious, so yes, it is a problem. Getting a stud TE isn't the answer, but it's a crucial position that's sorely needs addressing.

Eh, when your TE1 sucks, running down the remainder of the depth chart is kinda pointless.

Hooker will be shelved most of the year (late season ACL tear). Rattler probably won't declare. Duggan, Heaner and Rising are all Day 3 guys. Duggan may go as high as the 4th the rest are 6th and 7th rounders. Tune may be an early day 3 guy with an impressive offseason, but as for now, he's lumped into the end of the draft crowd. Much more accomplished QBs went back to school because they were getting a day 3 grade. Now, as the class has drastically thinned out, some of these guys may get overvalued. I hope teams *ahem* the Panthers *ahem* can tell the difference between a weak spot and true value.

Actually no, the mid-teens is right where I want to be.

Red shirted and a year of Covid eligibility. Your not wrong though, he started playing at Wake Forest in 2018.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of. Levis has the physical tools, but lacks the mental aspect of the game seemingly. The people that were knocking Trey Lance for being essentially underdeveloped would be very hypocritical to be on Richardson's bandwagon. Lacking the needed snaps to be successful is the same no matter what college competition faced and simply because Richardson played (extremely) mediocre football in the SEC doesn't make him any more ready than Lance. For this reason I'm not in favor of drafting 3rd year college QBs, namely RSOs.

Hartman is staying in college and entering the portal. Just waiting for Ward to say he's staying now. The middle of this QB class completely disappeared. I know, I know...the dreaded 'next year' scenario, but it is looking better and better as the 2nd, 3rd and 4-5 round guys that stayed for next season will come out, several will be out of eligibility. Top that off with the first-time draft eligible guys and it is looking pretty darn good!

Can JC play corner effectively in bubble wrap? If so, it needs to happen. Dude stays injured. I can't remember a high draft pick staying shelved as much with assorted injuries since Biakabautuka.

I would like to note I was open to signing Brissett (before Cleveland) or Dalton (before Saints) in the offseason. The idea was widely scoffed at.

Yup, I want him walking off the filed with his head held low while occasionally looking up to yell at a team mate or a ref for the loss. We all know losses are not Tom's fault. At most he'll shoulder a microscopic sliver of the blame while dishing out a ton of it. I would love to hear the retirement questions come fast and furious in his post game presser.

The 49ers come to mind. It seems no matter who they put behind center, solid coaching with weapons surrounding their QB de jour paired with a smothering defense is a winning recipe. Freaking Brock Purdy looks good for crying out loud.

I've been saying it since Baker was traded...we have to hedge our bets in the draft and re-sign Darnold to a open-competition QB1/solid QB2 kind of contract. Take Marcus Mariota's deal for example. If Darnold continues to play well the next couple of games, I wouldn't hate a contract similar to this.

If we finish around pick #10, we had better come away with the best WR or Mayer. We need more options in the passing game, period--that's not even debatable. If this season has shown anything is that crappy coaches can ruin/stymie the best, young QBs and that game-manager QB types can consistently win on solid teams. Give the QB some weapons and charge him with the task of NOT losing the game. DJ can't be our only solid receiving option next year, it's can't happen. I know we have some other guys at WR and TE, but right now, some other guys is about the most apt label there is to describe them.

I still say this is the best route. We are looking at QB4, possibly QB3. Sorry, but Richardson and/or Levis just doesn't get me excited. Two big arms, but one consistently under-performed and the other is as raw as sushi straight off the boat. Build the team and then find the QB rather than find the QB and try to build the rest of the team around him. This is the way. Anyone who thinks this team is only QB away is at homer level-10 or just completely oblivious. They are a scrappy bunch and Wilks has them playing about the best they can, but teams with superior talent will eventually win the day against an over-matched club playing above their means.

On the flip side, Daboll has worked out so far with the G-men. I mean, Daniel Jones even looks decent this year.
-
This will come down to the QBs and 3rd down defense. The Bucs will stop our run at all costs and dare Darnold to bet them. We will attempt to make the Bucs one-faceted and yes, make Brady win the game. That said, we had better have a lot of quick route concepts if the Bucs stymie our run game. Our pass rush MUST help out our secondary. If Brady has time, he will pick apart out depleted corners.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Try these links for a different perspective. Using the same simulator will give you similar results. Change it up a bit. Actually PFF is my least favorite simulator. https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/index.php https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/mock-draft-simulator

I like the first seven of eight picks. Nix just stated he's headed back to school and Ward is leaning that way. The middle of the pack which was supposed to be the depth/strength of this class dried up in a hurry. Next year though, especially if Williams and Maye declare. Wowza!!!!

Ah, back in the good old days there were!!! That all stopped when the PA announcers basically encouraged snitching before every game. TEXT-I'M A WUSS to stadium security if other people are having a good time.
