  1. Current options (Sam/Corrall) FA and a mid-round rookie. If we end up drafting Johnston, I wouldn't mind taking a stab at Duggan in the 4th or 5th round.
  2. Pinerio. We save $1M against the cap if we cut Zane. Secondly, Zane is injury prone and will have been shelved for a really long time.
  3. Unique physical specimen to be sure, but is SUPER green. Big, fast and strong arm---that's all the Huddle needs. Production is simply an nuisance that is an inconvenience to their man-crush.
  4. Scouts are saying that AR needs to sit not one, but TWO years. Sounds like an awesome plan!
  5. No. The main gripe I have about Wilks is even if he let's McApoo go, no legit OC is coming here. Back to Rivera ball we go. I'm done with that.
  6. Reich You could argue the GM fugged him over with the Matt Ryan trade this year.
  7. If you have a potential franchise QB in the draft (top 5 pick), you don't go out and sign a journeymen QBs before the draft.
  8. Can't do it like that. Each draft has it's own dynamics with positional depth and strengths. Like the 2022 QB draft and the 2020 one were VASTLY different in terms of first round talent.
  9. Unless mocks are way off, all three are gone by the Colts pick. Texans, Seattle and Colts all take QBs. Seattle being the one the could pass, but the Texans and Colts are 100% going QB. That leaves AR-15. Another year on two in school, I maybe could be on board with him, but he's basically 1.5 seasons removed from High School. No!
  10. FA, Sam or mid-round rookie. I'm willing to go with a game manager next year and give the guy some weapons rather than draft a clueless rookie and force him to play early on with shat for a supporting cast.
  11. Neither is a RB, but yet you listed one. Levis will be gone. So Johnston it is.
  12. And why we take the best WR on the board at #9.
  13. Richardson. The gap between the top guys and the next tier will force Richardson WAAAAY up the draft board. None of the QB needy teams ahead of us are rolling the dice with such a risky prospect. Stroud, Young and Levis will be gone. We'd be the only ones stupid enough to take such a boom or bust prospect that high.
  14. Sure, like Darnold today, he had time to run around in the pocket while his WRs still couldn't get open. Granted, he wasn't getting planted into the turf, but the extra time by the OL didn't do diddly for our WRs that were continuously covered like the DBs were their Siamese twins.
  15. You did see the game today, correct? Our OL may be better, but weapons? Nah, the cupboard is bare. I've said this time and time again--Moore would be a #2 on most teams. One dude we signed off the street (Foreman), Chuba, Ian Thomas, Tremble, Marshall, Shi Smith and so on. This roster sucks at offensive skill positions.
  16. You guys are a riot. Defending Fields based off "he has no help" then in the same breath "WE HAVE TO DRAFT A QB!!!" on a team nearly as inept/deplete with offensive help.
  17. Yup, I'm wanting to see Johnston against that Georgia defense. If he shows out tomorrow night, he should be the picks if still on the board. As much as I want Mayer, it was PAINFULLY obvious today we need to seriously upgrade our WR room. I lost count of how many times today the commentators said nobody was open for the Panthers.
  18. Mayer, Johnston or trade back.
  19. No, I can't stand many more 10-7 games. I'll take a victory, but if many of the games are like that, all I'll be taking are a bunch of naps on Sunday afternoons.
  20. FYI guys, AR 15s overrated arse will still there at pick #9. Don't cry now, wait to cry after we pass on him.
  21. TeH Huddlez: Uggghhhhh, the Panthers won--this sucsk!!!!! This is so fugg'n bad!!!! I hate my life!!!! *Irony is this is a Panthers fan board.
  22. I will not argue that, BUT the problem I have is the clamoring for a rookie QB when we are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo deficient on the offensive side of the ball that a rookie QB will not make on bit of difference. Actually, he will likely make things worse because of utter lack of help around him. At least a veteran QB can handle the adversity.
