    The ACL is the only reason Hooker will likely not go in the first round. Hooker is a more complete QB than AR at this point.

    Honestly a veteran WR corps would be best for a rookie QB, versus playing with rookie WRs too.

    I thought a Burns extension would be one of the first orders of business this offseason considering how much cap space it frees up. That and Shaq's reworked deal.

    For job security. His cap numbers the next two years are such that we won't cut him.

    The elephant in the room is Burns. If he gets a new deal, a large portion of that $16M gets freed up.

    Williams, McCray, Sanders and Tuttle all need to stop going to the tanning booth then, their base tan is good for the summer and beach ready.

    That's a lengthy list for a team with only 6 picks, well 5 because the first one is be a QB. "Or two" isn't happening...one spot at most, which will prevent other needs from being addressed.

    Houston just got another pick in the Cooks trade. I think they have a total of 12 picks now. Screw value, especially on day three, move back to #2 and get a handful of these picks!

    LaPorta may be there in the 3rd, but after him there still will be serviceable TEs, however not sure-fire starters.

    We are likely to miss out on a good class because by the 3rd round the pickings are going to be slim. There's no way the team is taking a TE over a WR in the second round.

    Trade back with Houston and get their #73 pick and one of their three sixth rounders, plus a 4th next year. We recoup two picks this year and one for next year. Granted the picks aren't the same value as what we gave up, but picks none-the-less.

    Losing that other 2nd rounder hurt, I had us taking a WR and TE with those picks. Fitts may trade back, but I think it will be later.

    Yeah, we still need to draft a TE. Problem is the lack of draft picks.

    Thomas knew his butt was on the line, a pay cut is better than the unemployment line.

    The crazy thing is they said he hardly ever dropped a pass in practice. He just choked on game days.

    If he's wanting more than 2M per, then he can find another team. He's only an early down back.
